To Err is Only Professional

I decided not to talk about paragraph one in a Tweet this evening - - so if you look and see an entry NOT there, you'll know it's Me.

Call this chapter of today's soap opera 'Marcus dodges a bullet".  This afternoon just after three I went down to the office "Just to check with Yadera if she remembered I gave her a dentist's referral a week or so ago and did she follow up?"  I was greeted by the news from Yadera that I had five minutes to brush my teeth before headed off to the Paradontist, ironically on "Romneyia" street.  I didn't like the name.  "I like pulling teeth".   Anyhow it seems my local dentist misread her tea leaves and I didn't have any paradontal disease and my tooth was fine.  This guy seemed alltogether more of a cheerful continence than my own dentists, who often comes off as a worry wart.  Now the only question is who is going to pay the hundred dollar fee.  On the way back home I knew I'd be in time for dinner after all, which I was.  And I thought of the Biblical adage of "Let not he who puts on the armor for battle boast like he who takes it off afterward".

Not to dispute with Wickipedia or anything but I believe I have them in a bit of a math error.  As you remember Bones demonstrated to me how the Wickipedia formula was just WRONG on multiple dimensions and faces of ninety degree cubes.  Now they are wrong again on the whole 55 thing.  They talked about "Conbinations' verses "Permiutations".  I never knew what a permuitation was before. My English teacher Mrs Davis once said that "Life would be rather dull and drab without adjitives.  In fact you could not even use the words "dull" and "drab" to talk about it".  It's interesting that words like "nuance" have an ironically precise meaning even though the word alludes to things that are anything but conceise.  Ya dig? That's when combinations of numbers have to be in a certain order.  The - - actually I guess it's Google where there is a big of an "error in posing the question.  Under the system I use, there is no bar to picking the same number twice as in Doninoes and the double nine, for instance.  Under the Choose option, once you have "chosen' something you can't Choose it again.  If you want to debate either of these two things, Stu Baby would be happy to come over to your place and argue with it for about a half hour.

"Well I'll be dog gone".  We all know about the Custody Battle of Knuckles the dog between two estranged lovers.  A similar thing happened with me and Robin in January of 1977 with Pete Richards as the "referee" in this conflict.  Robin decided she wanted the dog back after nearly eight months of living with us.  I'm sure the dog, Tobias, would have been perfectly happy at either house and I would never call Robin a "bad mother".  And Robin has been with the dog longer.  But as you know I and Pete won the battle, not that Pete wouldn't have just as happy if Robin had taken custody.  It makes you wonder how history might be different if - - - .  Jump forward to September of 1987 when the cat, Bones returned to our neighborhood and was run out of our back yard in a battle with Oscar.  Although Bones had the more macho reputation, when it came to a head to head battle, Oscar won the day.  I imagine Bones even today isn't happy talking about this.

Joe Drisco said there would be a partial eclipse of the sun today at five thirty in the afternoon.  I checked on the calendar and Joe is in error as I thought.  The next even possability of such an event is this Sunday.  Joe added just now "totality will be between Redding, California and the Oregon border and will be eighty percent here".  That's interesting to know.  It's not the sort of thing that happens every day.  Joe claims he heard it on the news, but I haven't seen or heard anything about it.

Is "Don't Go There" a Sound Life Principle?

OK I screwed up here.  I thought he said "If you Can - explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.  My bad.  Give me twenty lashes with a wet noodle for my error

That's a pretty straight forward question, huh?  Are there certain areas of knowledge we ordenary peons should just stay the hell away from because we don't know what we're talking about.  Do you remember when Clinton was asked about all his sexual escapades and he admonished a reporter "You don't wanna go there".  Are there certain areas of life where "We don't wanna go there?"  How about explaining why people in the Tea Party do what they do?  Oh yeah- - - are there times when "Exploiting the Optics of a situation" just plain counter-productive?  If you heard the first commercial segment of Rush Limbaugh's show this morning- - you may conclude as I did that to even dignify anything Rush said with a response is to only denegrate myself and drag m "in the hole that he's in" to quote a Bob Dylan song.  I'm sure Will Horton felt like saying to his mother when she began bombarding him with questions "You don't wanna go there".  I strongly suggest she heed her son's advice.  She may not like what she learns, or as Will Horton put it himself, "Watch it- - or you may get what you wish for".  Sometimes when there is nothing but screaming headlines filled with crap repeated every hour on the half hour in blairing detail- - you just have to push it out of your mind and concentrate on what's really important in your life.  This notion of "shutting it all out" is not entirely without merit.  Because Stephanie Miller pointed out that most political polling is still done with land line calls and since most intelligent, thinking people (myself hopefully excepted) have cell phone now, than nobody "with any brains" is even being queered on today's pressing political questions.  "Anyone with any sense has already gotten out of town" to quote Dylan.  Some like me may wonder "What makes the Tea Party do the things they do?"  Quino sabe?  Now they are saying that John Boehner is really "Not one of them" because he didn't push hard enough to block corrective action on the student rate interest hike.  He should have let it go through and not interfered.  And the same tea party doesn't want the "Violence against women" bill renewed but just let nature take its course there to and allow it to "wither on the vine" to quote vintage Newt.  And now in this values reversed world any Republican who dares speak out against the Tea Party seems to be signing their own political death warrent.  We know what happened to Dick Lugar.  Now people who are defending Dick Lugar are also finding themselves in trouble.  So Chuck Hagal and John Danforth are attempting to warn people about how extremist the Tea Party is- - but nobody is listening.  The Chinese and other Asian groups have this whole principle of "Let your enemy defeat himself with his own energy" and "Let your enemy's own exertions be the thing that defeats him" or to quote Dylan again "I don't want to defeat somebody - - if they're already defeated".  I don't know.  As far as I personally can see- - I see no good news on the horizon.  Of course they say that "six months in politics is an eternity".  That's about the only Hope Ihave to hang on to now that things "will be different' or to quote Dylan again "Everything changes- - and maybe someday I'll come crying to you".  My temptation to this remark is to respond in the words of another song- - - "That'll be the day".

Of course you know sometimes people pull strings to help out others, sometimes surrupticiously - - so that the Party involved doesn't suspect they aren't entirely doing it on their own.  Some say that Evolution is like this where as it were "Nature need a helping hand now in then to know which piece of the puzzle to slip in next in the genetic code".  And then you have Bob Woodward and Mark Felt and his remark that seems almost convienient "I won't explicitly come out and claim something.  But I will keep you pointed in the right direction".  It's kind of this "Stephano Di Mira" doctrine that saved John Black's butt on last fall's soap opera scenario.  Thank heaven for Italian honor and all of that.  You just have to "slip in the right hints" when someone is getting off the track".   One of the "Dead People" who I have been endlessly curious about for the past several decades, Ernest Hemingway.  But I am repeatedly told by everyone that "He's not here and nobody has seen him".  What if he IS there and wants his identity or presence kept secret, untill now at least, where if he knows anything he knows the second I suspect he's not really dead I'll get on blogger and blab about it.  The first little "Message' may have come the other night when he said "Don't include the photo with Al".  By NOT including that photo but the one I did you see six people, two men and four women, at the family gathering, and an empty chair.  So what is the symbolism of a six and a one.  We have Jim Cooper talking about the six - one domino being "lucky".  I think for some mathematical reason I deduced the same thing playing the game myself - - but now I can't remember what it is.  Of course Bones the cat was a black cat with seven white patches, just like a six - one domino.  BONES numerically doesn't add up to 61 but 55 actually, but you knew that.  That should make Junior Sayou happy.  Page 55 is the page in my prophecy book where I begin talking about the antichrist as a descendant of the Herodian line of "Idumian" Kings over the nation of Israel.  Page 54 is one of the few totally Blank pages on my prophecy book.  So what is the last sentense of chapter five on page 53 of my book.  Here it is.  "He will know that- - it's Now or Never".  That's it.  Actually if you think about it, "It's now or never" really gives you a choice.  You can do it NOW, but if you like- - Never is just as acceptable an option, and in some instances in life just might be vastly prefered for one and all.  Like should Will Horton ever try to reconcile with his mother.  Sometimes NOT attempting something can be downright smart, and save you from a lot of heartache.  So does 53 have any significantce.  Well, Valerie Shoffner's birthday is 5 / 3 and is in her 53rd year of life right now.  Also the word DONT adds up to 53.  I'm run it through my brain processor and it comes out that every time.  But is "Don't" any message.  Well, it's an Elvis song and three Beatle songs start with that word.  Not particularly promising there.  But then of course we have that age old question with issues of our life - - should be "Come on!" and get on with it or "Take it Easy" and lay back a bit and think about it.  "Such an easy question - - why can't I get an answer".  These quotes were not entirely accidental.  If you look to the I Ching for a six and one decipher you  know that traditionally ONE stands for Heaven and SIX stands for earth because there are six broken lines.  One of the hexigrams of the I Ching is "Stantstill" or something where the peak is past.  "The great departs and the inferior approaches".  I think we've been there politically since April of 2009.  The inferior has taken over.  You have Heaven above and Earth below.  I was thinking this would be a good hexigram chapter for the Rapture if you believe in that.  So are one seventh of the people "taken" in the rapture.  "Six people will remain - - one of them will be taken".  Jesus didn't say that.  In fact Bones didn't even say THAT.   Bones of page 55 kind of has a conotation of- - I don't know - - auguring things from dead things?  You think of "The dead" when you hear the word Bones, as in "picking over the bones".  So are there any other "clues" that may have been dropped with the six and one thing?  There are the ZAC tarrot cards.  If you take the very first Song to be popular by group one on the list and group Six on the list and compare them lyrically - - - you have diamatrically Opposite views on life.  One says to slow down and stop - - and the other says to go full speed ahead.  Interesting, huh?  So how we "get an answer- - to such an easy question".  You might try track five, the very next track on the album for starters.  Or heed the warning at the end of chapter five in my book that it really IS a question of "It's now or never" and you've gotta live with your Choice.  And then there is always the last song of album number five by Dylan.  My whole book was patterned vaguely after the verse structure of the longest song on track five, and so this is not an entirely unfair suggestion.  OK right now I'm going to rapture myself.  I'm going to "take myself away" to the patio.  That would be one of those "Se" reflexive verbes in Spanish.  "Trayigase"  Is that a verb?

Let's talk about "other" indicators of a brighter future for Democrats than we see in the news.  The biggest one is an astrological one - - the Venus cycle.  This cycle will NOT end in June but rather will go till 'at the least early in the following year", which would be 2013 in this case.  I have also been informed that we will NOT have a Mormon President any more than we'll have a Jewish or Atheist President.  The Cosmic Forces that Be simply will NOT Allow it.  There is too much of a broad concencus against it and people when they step into the pulls this November will simply NOT pull the lever or whatever for Mitt Romney.  Period.  It won't happen.  Also on the Supreme Court front - - this High Court would not DARE rule against the President because the Republicans NEED this issue too badly to hang over the public's head as a Threat like they Wanted to do with the Bin Laden thing but the President took that Plumb away from them.  In summer of 1990 when there was worry about what sort of Justice that Suitor would be I was told by this same source that God will NOT allow Roe vs Wade to be overturned.  That's another thing that simply WONT happen even now.  Period.  Since this is something for which there would be a Danger of happening under Romney we can from this indicator alone deductively KNOW that Mitt Romney will NOT be appointing the next supreme court justice.  We also need to keep in mind that the Democratic Campaign has barely BEGUN to fight.  The Republicans have had the political stage Almost Exclusively to themselves these past twelve months or so.  If the Scott Walker recall goes Against the President the DNC will finally Wake Up and at that time decided to campaign against the recall as a "Disaster" on a post facto basis, as something which "could happen anywhere" if the Democrats at large don't wake up.  In addition to women, blacks, latinos, the elderly, the urban, and the poor and the gays, you can add the Union workers of the Rust Belt as part of the list of people who when they get inside the solitude of the voter booth, will decide that voting in their OWN Interest makes Sense, expecially when they see Greed played up as THEE virtue that outshines them all - - so they will figure that since "The rich are waging war against Me- - there is nothing to stop me from Retaliating if I have to Power to do so and here I DO have the power.

Dylan told us a long time ago to "Watch the parking meters".  Now they at great expense are digging up the old meters and preparing to put in new, electronically sophisticated ones that actually measure when a car drives away so the meters can be re-set like Romney's etch-a-sketch thing, so that one can no longer "pay it forward" to the NEXT driver if he leaves with unexpired time still on the meter.  Also there will be electronic safeguards against "feeding the meter in mid stint" and strict two hour time limitations will be strictly enforced.  This entire opporation is a government thing to use a cannon to kill a fly, and is only another symptum of local government's desperation in general to raise money.

It's a fair assumption that since the common people have been known to rebel in hard times, that if things continue to stay bad the right wing fears of a "People's Revolution" will indeed come to pass so that in the words of the Bible character Job, "My worst fears have come upon me".  If we believe people like Michael Benner and Wayne Dyre- - if one obsesses about negative turns in events, our "magnetic energy" that we send out will actually ATTRACT the Very Events that we Dread.  I hope you don't mind the occasional screaming caps.  We know about how when the Calvinists in France got out of line and greedy for power with increasingly brash proclamation that St. Barthalamew's Masacre took care of that problem.  We all know about the French Revolution.  We know about the Russian Revolution.  Back in the era of Casablanca, the Hollywood community sided with the Communists in Spain rather than side with Franco, who was that era's version of the Tea Party today.  We all know there was a political revolution in 1960.  People went for the idea of the "New Frontiers".  And at that time it wasn't that Ike was so bad; the American people just felt they could do better.  However in the past forty years there have been an apalling absence of left-wing movements in the United States that actually succeeded.  But in the same way people argue "If we had a national Draft, there wouldn't be so many wars" so the tea party would not be so bold if the things they were SAYING about those "unwashed socialist masses" who protest- - were actually true.  There also comes a point where cops bashing people's heads into the sidewalk - - will sawn more Violent reactions that are planned by these "unwashed masses" because indeed in self fulfilling prophecy "Respect for the institutions of Law and Order" will have broken down.  Of course France went Socialist.  They are a population that had finally "had enough "of this whole "economic austerity" clap trap we've been gagging on these past four or five years.  The American people have been very patient- - but to suppose that therefore they aren't human beings but "Sheeple" would be a misguided assumption by the Tea Party.

Encountering Deceptive "Optics"

"Ye hath heard it said on a song on the "Elvis is Back" album that "Seeing is believing".  But I say unto you that "Seeing may be Believing - - but Seeing is NOT knowing for a Fact"

"Just remember, your feelings will lie to you.  So if you've getting feelings of self doubt from listening to my words on the radio right now, remember those feelings are lying to you".

"If the tea party hates government and trusts only in the private sector, then logically all tea party members should resign from government and retire to private life"

People now use the term of ‘optics” to describe the political realities of our time.  For instance Jerry Brown will be displayed as “hostage to supreme court” rulings that gives those retched poor people like myself “power they don’t deserve’ in dictating how much California government money is spent on us.  They will point to the current state budget crisis as “Just another example of how liberals like Jerry Brown can’t balance a check book”.  They portray the “Optics” of today’s socio-economic situation like that Ten Years After song of “Tax the rich to feed the poor – till there are no rich no more”.  They really believe this.  That the government is out to “conthiscate” the rich to cover up their own spending ineptitude and drive all the “good, responsible people” into the poor house”.  It’s all those Liberal’s fault.  People like Judy regard the ideal governmental spending money as zero.  “Then everything would be perfect”.  Michelle Bachman’s stance isn’t that from from this position.  I first heard the term of “Optics” applier to Lyndon Johnson’s conduct right after President Kennedy died.  He had to portray himself as nothing but honoring JFK’s memory.  So there are White House tapes that wouldn’t be made public for years, that none the less support these sort of “Optics”.  But from a metaphysical stand we can let this idea of “Optics’ throw us all off the track.  For instance “we all know” that the Universe is a giant sphere.  How do we know this?  We’ve been TOLD it ever since the ‘sixties.  The whole idea is based on the idea that light curves in a circle by pure physics laws when there is an inequity of mass pull on light more on one side of a light beam than on the other- - and the light will curve naturally in the direction of the greater mass.  I’ll show you how beliefs like this apply to the Tea Party.  It’s the whole idea of “Limited Good” since that Ten Years After song is a major champion of.  We have these propaganda weapon words such as “Class Warfare” there ANY attempt to criticize the well to do is seen as “Warfare”.  That their side “fired the first shots” of this war, not to mention the second, third, and fourth shots of this war- - is something the Tea Party would rather not have you be aware of.  But the whole concept of “limited creation” stems all the way back to God and the “I’m only human” doctrine, touted by people such as James Dobson.  People like Dobson will say “Well, even God is limited by circumstances and natural laws and such and thus there are certain things even God is unable to do, because he just isn’t Powerful enough.  However this is not my theory.  Someone else on the radio was confronted with this sort of talk about science and natural law, and time and space and infinity.  And the caller said to the host “These things have an a prior existence.  They are things that have always Been and so did not need to be created”.  The host then fired back with zinger remark.  He said to the caller “You know- - - you’ve just described God”.  You’re making a God out of all these things.  So the “optics” of the Creation Story goes something like this.  In the first day God created the Universe and all the stars in it, but there came a time when God looked up from his work and saw the sun going down and said “Oh oh- - the first day is coming to an end.  I better stop this phase of creation and tomorrow I will continue with phase two, with the stuff already here.  The idea that “Infinity” itself is a finite creation or an “Artifact of God” as I first proposed to Dr. Levy - - - is utterly lost on people like this.  If God is really God if he doesn’t like a physical law he can change it.  Let me pose this question - - “If God is unable to change it, then who can?  Who is greater than God”.  I’d like to meet them.  I myself an a Deist rather than a theist, so my metaphysics doesn’t encounter these problems.  But sometimes a conception error can throw off all the rest of your deductions- - - much as the tea party’s bogus “memes” will throw off all the rest of YOUR deductions, you who are listening to a tea party spokesman.  It has thrown off mine.  So I had this concept of “Convex” space and “Concave” space.  Convex space is like you look at a chart and see a circle and it’s shaded in some color.  The portion shaded in represents the bounds of the known universe.  Then we (meaning “muah”) has “Con-cave space or hyperbolic space.  Now look at a graph of the national debt.   I’m sure your tea party friends have one of those.  You see the chart start off flat for a long time and then go into a hyperbola type formation and it shoots way up to nearly infinity.  The portion of the area below the line or as it were the “body” of the graph, is now shaded in a different color.  This represents hyperbolic space.  This all stems back from that flip-flop certesian, pythagarean equation that is the foundation of “natural trig” or I refer to it as “optical” trig.  Now listen to this next line carefully.  The MISTAKE is to make the ‘Optics’ of the matter the SUBSTANCE of a matter.  This is what the tea party would have you do with reality.  If you Believe it- - then naturally it HAS to be true.  Therefore you have just concluded the “Optics” IS the substance of reality.  And this is MY error in metaphysics and perhaps YOUR error as a Tea Party disciple.  (Selah)

This is Tuesday afternoon at a quarter to three and I am not a happy camper.  Let’s pick up today’s narrative at the noon hour where I largely dozed through Randy Rhodes.  Finally I ran the coffee grounds through and added one new table spoon for more coffee and had that.  It’s just the necessary money stretching these days.  On the soap opera Bo and Hope let that guy keep the coin they were after allowing him to break into a safe to steal it right from under their noses.  Now they have some new plan of John that’s probably going to fail.  Then we were treated to more of Samantha’s naked hypocracy.  She doesn’t care what kind of an asshole she is.  She has no conception of it.  She’s kind of like the tea party or my own family for that matter.

[name withheld] began calling names for Money draw around one thirty.  Bill reminded me they’d called my name and so I forwent the final segment of the soap opera.  There weren’t that many in line ahead of me but of course I had to give Arleen cuts.  Each person took at least three or four minutes in conversation with [name withheld].  My situation is this.  I started with my account with [name withheld] with fifty six dollars.  Out of that I have only spend $25.00 till now but I only have fifteen left.  I know the medical co pay is tripled now and that I owed a few dollars from last month that was carried over.  The math still doesn’t quite add up, though.  I only had fifteen left and I took all of that out to save me a trip next week.  She had no candy this week.  I went to the liquor store and bought one pack of John Black grape.  Then I went to see Dr. Saran.  My blood pressure was 132 over 70 which isn’t bad considering the stress I was under.  I was worried about some blood test results that were never given me and Dr. Saran looked at my chart and just says “There’s nothing”.  I didn’t know what to do.  So to keep the line from backing up I just left.  Of course trying to ask money from Mom would be counter productive.  If I got a seven percent increase to match inflation now it would be a slightly different story.  Not smoking cigarettes isn’t going to turn me from a poor man to a rich man.  The reality is if I want to gain weight I have to buy my own snacks and I don’t have money for that.  Dora did have a piece of bread pudding left.

I had Ed Schultz on the computer.  It seems that Scott Walker plans to, as the next phase of his “campaign” to remain in office and save the tea party’s butt, is going to release some doctored unemployment statistics to convince people somehow the jobs picture isn’t as bad as they all know it is, which seems downright silly.  Ed, like myself, is disturbed by the D N C’s decision not to get involved, as if Scott Walker staying in power would have no adverse national consequences.  We’ll know everything in three weeks and suddenly June 5^th isn’t that far away.  As top proposition 29 the way I feel right now I’ve voting against it.  Hell if I’m going to squeeze my meager monetary reserves further.  Then I had that Latino (?) lady at ten on KTLK talking about corrupt immigration agents.  It seems the drug smugglers not only give bribes but also use a gun to enforce their point in case “being nice” doesn’t work.  The host was concerned about employers in this country who make a racket out of hiring illegals and driving down the wage base.  Of course the tea party complains about illegals f or the political advantage of doing that and all the while love the fact they’re taking jobs of people who need work in this country.  And then the topic moved on to Facebook addiction, and how many billions the company is going to rake in.  They don’t call it a public “offering” for nothing.  Just pass the plate.  It seems there are still states where you have to prove wrong doing in any divorce case and P I’s are kept busy doing cyber-snooping on husbands.  As if we needed a new thing to help drive up the divorce statistics and break up more marriages.  As far as the campaign therefore- - it’s not all just about the economy.  Other issues like immigration and women’s issues and Romney’s war plans for Iran and who knows where else- - now come to the forefront.  I can remember not so long ago when people were saying “tea party members are against foreign wars” but those days are long gone, because there is “Just too much money to be made by supplying the Army with the tools of the trade” as Country Joe and the fish put it over a generation ago. 

Of course my blog hit numbers are so bad you’d think just by chance people would accidently happen on a blog.  Even if they didn’t bother read it just going to one of my pages would score as a hit in Google’s tally.  They have that thing at top called “Next Blog” and you’d think my blog would have come up countless time in people’s random searches.  But you know what they say, “Oppinions are a dime a dozen”.   Sarah just rousted Bill to see Dr. Saran.  Fine. The nation is going to go to Hell in a hand basket next year and President Romney will major at explaining away all the fresh adversity by doing what he claims to despize, and that is to blame the previous administration, and people will buy it because Romney is a Republican and we know Republicans never lie.  It’s totally disgusting but what are you going to do?

Yeah, aren't I cute.  This is my family at Marie Calendar from last Christmas.  The photo from the Christmas before was taken at B P Chang's and it included the other brother we in loonie land refer to as Al.  (One alias I haven't blown yet)  There is my mother who is 86 and lives in Laguna Woods and you've seen photos taken from her place, and there are the wives of my two brothers, who are both older than they are.  You already recognize three people is you a saw a posting from several months ago.  Al lives in Woodridge in Riverside County.  The other brother lives just a couple of miles down the street but in another City and I was thinking of sending a Google street view shot of his house.  Oh yeah, there's a younger cousin in the picture I forgot about, too.  They had Newsmen on Jeopardy tonight.  Chris Matthews said the women's harassment government edit was called "the hostile work place' and I agreed with that but it was apparently wrong.  They make questions nice and easy for celebreties so they don't feel bad.  Wheel of Fortune is on now and in wolframalpha.com a math site (I bet THAT won't come out as a link either) they have a program you can use to "cheat" at Wheel of Fortune, so no I phones, I guess.  Tonight we had meat loaf and it turned out pretty good tonight, and chocolate pudding for desert. Right now I have one cigarette left and then I'll be out again.  This is like prison.  Cigarettes are a highly sought item.  As you know I'm in my early sixties and the people I live with here at this facility I'm in are approximately the same age, but I suspect as I stay here longer the average resident will be "getting younger" as the old ones die, which is an all too common occurrance around here because one thing that's rather lacking is medical care.  You gets what you pays for, to quote Popeye.  I am what they call "Volentary" meaning my own constraints are economic and not legal, if you don't count family wishes.  I don't foresee a real active role for me on Google plus.  My roommate's name is Bill and very lucky for me, he's a passive person.  I'm fortunate in this way because there are a lot of people I would not care to be boarding with on an all-the-time basis.

In for a penny, in for a pound, as Captain Piccard says.  "All the trees are just the right height".  Just what the hell did Mitt Romney mean by this.  From the sun angle you can deduce this photo was taken in the winter time.  "I love firing people"  "Corporations are people, my friend".   Mitt Romney's problem is that like a fundamentalist Christian "They never grow".  Mittens is just as awkward with people in interviews as the day he declaired for president.  At least our current President adjusted to a steep learning curve.  Personally if I were Mittens at this point I'd pick Michelle Bachman as my Vice President.  She understands women - - at least a little.  By the way did I ever tell you people that Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius was the only one of the first nineteen Emperors who wasn't gay?  Well, I just said it.  Marcus prized himself on being a "philosopher".  As to my attacks on Ayan Rand some would say 'Aren't you atheists supposed to stick together?  How come you're attacking one of your own.  In attacking her morals aren't you by implication attacking your own?"  This would be true is "Atheism" were a system or Morality and not of logical thinking.  Atheism lacks the moral stumbling blocks of Christianity.  That only makes you Free to be Whatever you Are.  If you're a sleaze bag than Atheism won't stop you from being that.

Just a short, boring word on the Special Theory of relativity now.  That's the theory that improves on Isac Newton that says don't count on two plus two making four.  You know Einstein borrowed his theory for addition of volocities, which is not just a plus sign as it is with Isac Newton.  He borrowed the theory from another dude who was trying to get the Ether Theory to "add up" Mathematically.  But that theory involved hyperbolic tangents, which means they never go higher than one.  If one were to use what I refer to as "optical trigonometry" since it involves "light' after all - - one would infer that as one reached HALF his speed potential, one would be going the speed of light meaning that HALF of one's fuel consumption or acceleration time or thrust or whatever- - would be exerted in achieving virtually an unlimited speed.  We spoke of "hyperbolic optics" which is a confusion we introduced and perhaps I should explain that.  We are conflating the word "hyperbolic" to refer to two different things.  (I love to see connections in things where perhaps there isn't any)  One use is a formula that in analytic geometry forms a hyperbola.  The other usage is an optical image that turns a circle into a hyperbola where analogus to a space orbit it "achieves excape volocity" or in this case the speed of light is a term that "stands in" for "escape volocity" in our application.  Do you get that?  Or should I say it again in pig Latin?  But here is a caviat.  The clause in the contract that may trip you up.  When I said "unlimited" that's in terms shall we say "relative to the speed of light".  That is in terms of an optical image the fastest speed you can get is - - hold on - - - negative infinity.  That kid with Aspurgers who must be turning thirteen this year - - he pegged this speed at 1.9 and I say the "agragate speed" is 1.999999  ect. But in my math - - you can even add larger numbers like 2 plus 3 equals 5 and 4 plus 3 equals seven.  Wow!  Anybody up for a good game of BONES?  How about paranoid scitzophrenia?  Where would TV dramas be without that?  Here's one 55 is a mystic number as on "BONES", which is a Devil's word according to Ned Flanders.  It's a "triangulation of 10 (be sure and count the double blank) but in Google syntax is 11 choose 2 I believe because their formula is always one higher.

"Atlas Drugged" A New Satirical Novel

I guess this summer's hot pick for a novel for your leisure reading is a thing called "Atlas Drugged" by Steven Goldstein.  Apparently it's about a fictional situation we on the left are supposed to laugh at as a scenario which couldn't happen in a million years.  But sometimes satire is eerily prophetic and very un-funny in its outcome.  Apparently there is stuff in there about the Government putting 911 as a 900 phone prefix that you have to pay for the service of.  There is still about certain bridges being made toll bridges in case of a Hurricane warning and the people need to flee quickly.  And unlike Bush who was merely slow to respond after Hurricane Katrina, now the government will farm out emergency services like the distribution of clean water- - to private corporations, and you'll have to pay dearly for it, but you won't have any choice.  And of course we already have the speeded up poultry inspection scenario like Lucy in the candy factory where now the meat goes by at several times the rate it used to, when diseases are on the rise.  Of course the whole idea of "selling" an Atheist like Ayan Rand, whose hear in one of her leading novels - -is patterned after a psychopathic killer- - this takes some doing.  Actually those Christians of Faith should be thanking liberals like Stephanie Miller for trying to separate out true Christianity from tea party dogma, but of course they won't.  Of course all of tea party doctrine is based largely on pure fiction anyhow like the image of the Black "Welfare Queen" with her gold Caddilac we used to hear about endlessly in the 'eighties.  Much of what passes for American History with them is so selective and distorted it's nearly useless.  They appeal to an America that never was.

We all know that if things don't break the President's way in the Wisconsin recall on June 5th that President Obama's reelection campaign is toast.  But the big gambling money is already betting heavily on Scott Walter's staying in power and the recall failing.  The percentages break down to 70% for saying in power and 30% for the recall not succeeding.  I don't like those odds.  And neither does the Democrat National Committee.  Many people say they won't give another dollar to the DNC till they rethink their stance on not helping the recall movement in Wisconsin.  Obviously they don't want to get their hands dirty in case the recall should fail.  Of course now there is a video apparently tape made of Governor Walker after he first got into office.  On this tape he said that he would "work on dismanteling the labor unions and collective bargaining" and that his approach would be to "divide and conquer".  Of course one nice thing about being a registered Republican like I have been these past ten years is that they never call you for a monetery donation, and I often donated to them, even if it was a small ammount.  I can't afford it now anyhow.  That was when Bill Press was heading the California Democratic Party.

Many don't like bringing up someone's high school years.  The problem isn't with Mitt Romney back then but the way he is reacting now.  That makes it a current problem.  I might get defensive or even argumentative if someone fingered me for some misguided act I comitted in High School.  But I would not laugh about it.  Mitt Romney keeps saying "I don't remember back then".  And yet it was pointed out that every time the incident comes up in a conversation Mitt Romney laughs - - or tries to Laugh.  It's kind of one of those fiendish laughs like President Bush used to do when things were brought up like the imposition of the death penalty of Carla Fe Tucker back in Texas.  It makes absolutely no sense for one to say "I don't remember' and in the next breath to then say "But I know the kid wasn't a homosexual", and by the way "I'm going to get people to testify supporting my view of the event", of something he has no memory of.  In terms of Bane Capital Romney's memory is lacking there too.  Now the campaign has pulled those adds where Romney claims to have created a hundred thousand jobs at Bane Capital.  Now they have downgraded the theory to "Thousands of jobs".  One apologist for Romney said that "It's an unfair question to even pose because Bane Capital was NOT in the business of creating jobs, so don't fault them if they didn't".  That's an out!  Of course we know in the case of Staples a lot of jobs were exported to China.  And a lot of even those jobs were created after Staples had ended all contact with Bane Capital.  But if you are going to talk about "Thousands of jobs", well President Obama DID create in excess of a hundred thousand jobs- - just last month - in those Unemployment figures the Romney campaign calls a "disaster".  But if it's really true that "Bane Capital was never about jobs but in making money for their stock holders" then this is the thing they should put in their campaign adds - - - If it is a record they want to run on.

In terms of the soap opera now Elvis knows about his father's treachery during the recent Mayoral campaign where Stephano under-mined Elvis' efforts to smear sworn Di Mira family nemisis, John Black.  It would seem now that Stephano hates his son Elvis even more than he relishes the goal of destroying sworn enemy John Black.  He says he did it as a thing of "Italian honor" because he was keeping a vow to a dead person.  I don't want people to compromise their principles.  But couldn't Stephano have told Hope and Bo and Marlena (all of whom he believes to be Dead right now) that 'I did not conspire against John Black.  If you believe that my son did, then go talk to him".  But when you stealthfully sabotage a loved one and then lie about it and say you're still friends and you hope and pray for your friend's success"  - - then you can't be called anything but a Benedict Arnold, which last time I checked was not something Honorable.  As to Lexi's impending death from rapidly advancing inopperable brain cancer let's do a reality check.  She was told "It will be a matter of weeks".  Today is May 14th and this is what I wrote in Word on April 24th last month. "Today’s was a rather depressing episode in soap land.  Now Stephano and Elvis know about Lexi and her incurable condition."    So the event was "old news" even on April 24th.  Lexi now continues in the prime of health and there is no sign at all of any symptums at all.  All we had was a little dizzyness a while back with no recurrance of symptums.  It's just another way in which the whole show is bogus.


Just today I learned that I was being undermined by an - - Entity - - we'll leave it that impersonal - - that by all logic should be routing for my success.  But they are working against me.  A lot of my bad relation with Calvary of Anaheim is because of their policy of straight arming me- - and not allowing me to get close.  God Himself seems to regard me as some alien creation or at best some "Horrible Mistake that never should have Happened".  I think the American People are talked into believing that President Obama's election was some 'Horrible mistake" they made in voting for him in 2008 and that it's an action they'd like to have back.  They were "Deceived' and all.  President Obama's poll numbers have not budged in excess of six months one way or the other but he remains in a statistical dead heat with Mitt Romney.  You know six months is an Eternity in politics.  Six months ago the big issue was the Occupy Wall Street movement.  Also to build or not to build an electrified barbed wire fence at the Mexican border and Cain's "Nine - Nine - Nine" policy were hot items of discussion.  The issues of today were not even imagined six months ago.  And so it's by no far a reach to believe that the issues on Election Day will be things that have not even Happened yet and that nobody could predict.

Islamic Turkish Imam Rise to Prominence

"He's a New World Man"

We have wondered why the Turkish government has "gone more hard core Islamic" lately and there has been a trend tword the de-Westernization of Turkey.  The Federation has always had a soft spot for the Turkish nation.  So this Turkish Imam is to their liking.  He should be to the liking of us liberals too because he is at long last a prominent religious leader who is willing to "bring Religion into the 21st Century".  He teaches that you worship God, by teaching math and physics and chemistry to your young.  To achieve these ends he has set up a vast web of schools here in America from Texas to Minisota and in fact most even vaguely urbanized states.  He brings in Turkish teachers and oddly these teachers teach English over here.  He also has a vast education program in Turkey itself where is aggressive instruction in the English language even to elementry school kids.  But what got me was that the classrooms were like gigantic science fairs with do it yourself hands on projects where they build everything from remote controled robots to "hover crafts' made out of lawn blowers. (?)  The guy has been around since at least the late nineties. He was charged with subverting the Turkish government in 2008 but they then cleared him of all charges.  But now people are saying these imported teachers pay up to a forty percent kick back to the Turkish Imam.  But I very much like the idea of us honoring God through the study of math and science.  But he also teaches other things such as that the Bible teaches that it's a sin to earn as much money than you can.  That's even a tad more extreme than what Judy believes.  It's always nice to see a "rich ghetto" and private schools are just that.  Ghettos for the rich in their own idiological echo chamber.

Since he is addressed as an Imam I must conclude that he is from the Sheite wing of the Islamic faith.  Of course most Imams like the Ayatolah are extremist autocrats who teach reactionary thinking and rebel against western enlightenment.  This guy believes in conciliation with the West and in open proselitizing or one might almost say "pitching' or selling the Faith.  I know that guy on KFI this morning teaches that all Islanicists are Evil because they "hate Jesus" and all.  This man is seventy and is aging and developing numerous health problems.  He lives in seclusion in the Poconos, whereever they are - - I presume somewhere in the United States.  Even people as it were who are his Followers - - have never seen him.  The way Sixty Minutes tells it the polifferation of all these Charter Schools throughout America- - is still going on and the web of these schools is getting larger every day.  And so it seems really strange that I have never even heard of this man until tonight.  I do know that one of these Du Bai guys - - they had on a couple months ago - - has many of the same ideas as far as trying to Westernize his country and teach peach and brotherhood and all that stuff the Tea Party openly despizes.  Walter Martin openly taught that "All men are NOT my Brothers.  That role is excluded to fellow Christians (who think just like Me)"   I am only even posting this at all right now because I'm wondering whether it will turn out to be one of these Stories that Sixty Minutes has on where the topic is never raised again - - - by Anybody.  However here is more information about him.  I've just been informed that Flash Shockwave has crashed.  We'll now try this again and see.  We seem to have encountered a technical glitch.  Perhaps I can fix it. Theology

Gülen does not advocate a new theology but refers to classical authorities of theology and takes up their line of argument.  His understanding of Islam tends to be conservative and mainstream. Though he has never been a member of a Sufi tarekat and does not see tarekat membership as a necessity for Muslims, he teaches that Sufism is the inner dimension of Islam and the inner and outer dimensions must never be separated.  His teachings differ in emphasis from those of other mainstream, moderate Islamic scholars in two respects, both based on his interpretations of particular verses of the Quran: (1) he teaches that the Muslim community has a duty of service (Turkish:hizmet)^[24] to the “common good” of the community and the nation^[25] and to Muslims and non-Muslims all over the world;^[26] and (2), the Muslim community is obliged to conduct interfaith dialogue with the "People of the Book" (Jews and Christians).^[27]Although this does not extend to other religions and atheists. In fact he appears to be intolerant of atheism, as in 2004 Gülen commented to the effect that terrorism was as despicable as atheism.^[28] In a follow-up interview he explained he did not intend to equate atheists and murderers; rather, he wanted to highlight the fact that according to Islam both were destined to suffer eternal punishment.^[29]

The Gülen movement is a transnational civic society movement inspired by Gülen's teachings. His teachings about hizmet(altruistic service to the "common good") have attracted a large number of supporters in Turkey, Central Asia and increasingly in other parts of the world.^[30]

Gulen movement participants have founded a number of institutions across the world which promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue activities. While Gülen's earlier works are (in Bekim Agai's words) "full of anti-missionary and anti-Western passages",^[31] during the 1990s he began to advocate interreligious tolerance and dialogue.^[3] He personally met with leaders of other religions, including Pope John Paul II, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomeos, and Israeli Sephardic Head RabbiEliyahu Bakshi-Doron.^[32] In the late 2000s, the movement also initiated dialogue with those of no faith.  For example, the Dialogue Society in London, which is inspired by Gülen’s teaching, has more atheist and agnostic members of its Advisory Board than it has Muslims.  Similar to Said Nursi, Gülen favors cooperation between followers of different religions (this would also include different forms of Islam, such as Sunnism vs. Alevism in Turkey) as well as religious and secular elements within society.  He has been described as "very critical of the regimes in Iran and Saudi Arabia" due to their undemocratic, sharia-based systems of government.
