Lipstick On A Pig

This is eight in the evening of March 22, 2012 and the guy I was just watching and listening to speak on You Tube is stark raving nuts.  He’s planning a major movie to be out this summer under the theme of “What will America be like in 2016?”  The whole premise of the film is that Obama is the “strangest’ man we have ever had as President.  We know nothing about his college days or the girl he lived with for several years.  We don’t know his grade point average, or who his friends were.  But worse we don’t know his agenda, as opposed to other Democrats who failed such as Dukakis or Kerry, whom we have figured out pretty well what their ‘Compass” is.  This man says Obama does not share the “equality” dream of Martin Luther King and “has never stated that he did” but believes in some sort of African-American superiority, emphasis on the African part.  This video was buried among other mailings I’ve gotten saying “The reason why we can’t find all the oil in America is that we’ve never looked for it”.  Whatever.  But back to this guy who was speaking before this C-Pac group.  He’s of Indian descent and he tells us that Anti Colonial is the most major political scourge to hit the world the past 150 years because when all is said and done it’s “Anti Americanism”.  And then he goes on to numerous quotations from “Dreams of my Father”.  He related how the President fell on the red African earth of his fathers grave and said “I want you back” but failing that he reasoned “If I can’t have my father back, I want his Dreams”.  And what were his Father’s dreams?  Well, his father was an anti colonialist, of course.  He claims how high the ideal tax rate for a nation should be and the President responded “Up to 100 percent”.  The whole rationale for this is that America stole everything they have from the rest of the World and therefore this country Owes it all to them.  The “Unknown” part of it is played upon more because of course the President won’t stand for election again and therefore will be “freed up” after the election to finally put his Radical Ideas into motion, without hinderance or threats from political polls.  And there was stuff thrown in about how the President’s radical Islamic beliefs “dictate which Mideast Countries he will intervene in and which ones he won’t.  For instance he intervenes in Egypt, who was our friend, but he will not intervene in Syria, which is the head of Islamic terrorism.  If all this sounds a little bonkers to you you’re not the only one.  But this whole bit is like putting the veneer of Intellectualism over the worst form of ignorance and Prejudice.  And they are hoping that it will sell in the theaters this summer.  Well, to paraphrase Rush Limbaugh, “I sincerely hope that this Movie fails miserably”.  And I’m pretty sure it will.
One “bit” I left off the previous posting was about Clarence Thomas.  You know, if Thomas or Kane wrote it book it couldn’t be called “Growing up Black”.  The best they could do would be “Growing up Oreo”.  Clarence Thomas is like a guy who is told he can have a voucher when he enters East Berlin to insure that there will be no problems when he Exits.  But he is told only to take a free one if he honestly can’t afford one, because there is a limited supply.  So Thomas lies and gets a free one.  Then he gives it to a tea party radical racist being held in prison in East Berlin as sort of a “get out of jail free” card.  Because Clarence Thomas could afford his own voucher, which he now buys.  Then having gotten out he then turns on all the people still in the country and starts ratting them out saying that many people whom they thought they were his friend- - - are now turned against and Thomas has them all arrested.
Right now Ohio State is beating Cincinatti, but Cincinstti is evening up the score in a late game.  Earlier Syracruse knocked off Wisconsin and I was glad to see that.  I think Louisville knocked out Michigan State.  They were cool because they were called Spartans, and green.
This whole Rutkers Collegs homosexual death case is perplexing.  This one guy has a gay room mate and he “outed him” by taking pictures of him in the shower or something.  Now interviewed by ABC news he says he’s not anti gay and took no overt action to “out’ his room mate and bears no ill will against him.  I think he’s lying but I guess the whole thing is there a lot more serious forms of overt bullying that go on every day.  Why fixate on this case?
There’s the whole anti semetic killing thing in France.  People don’t like the Jews.  Wasn’t there some British propaganda in Vishi France saying that “Hitler intends to fight for his Principles down to the last Frenchman”.  It’s kind of like Jesus of Nazareth saying “I intend to fight for my principles down to the last Jew”.  The trouble with the Jewish people is they suffer from excessive self loathing and self introspection.  Nobody doubts that when they do take military action against a nation that it’s justified.  But Jews as a people tend to put themselves through a moral wringer with every decision they make.  I doubt even Blacks have the same “distrust of self” that Jewish people have.  And when they distrust themselves the most it’s when they get around Christians, who seem to suck all the oxygen out of the room.  (Selah)
This whole thing about the phoney Pharmicies is intriguing.  Now we know why key medical drugs like vaccines and cancer cures seem to be in such sudden short supply and high priced.  That’s because these Pharmicies buy up the drugs wholesale at a reasonable price and then jack them way up for Hospitals and Doctors, because they’ve cornered the market on the drug so everybody has to come to them.  This is an illustration of how unfettered Capitalism can lead to destructive ends.  One would suppose there were laws against it.  There may used to be laws, but knowing the Tea Party they probably repealed them when they took power.
Complaints about the warm weather continue to flourish.  We are in the third day of spring now and you’d think by now people would accept that “The seasons have changed”.  But they haven’t.  People in the Midwest and central America complain endlessly about the warm weather and skiing in your shorts and flowers blooming early.  Now they say tulips used in the Kentucky Derby will be “gone by then” and it’s the weather’s fault.  And people run to their doctors with allergies and the pollin count is astronomical.  And worse yet farmers plant their asparagus crops and corn crops but there is a danger the freeze may not be over and the saplings will just die.  There is an application here for every newborn Christian I might apply to myself.  And of course people from BP Oil want you to take a journey down south to get a close up look at the racism personally, I suppose.  To be frank, I’d rather not.
Finally we have the fuller story about how Whitney Houston died on February 11th.  The major thing that killed her seems to be Cocaine but she had numerous legal and illegal drugs in her system.  Some of the more innocent drugs are Benedryl, Xeanex, and Marijuana.  So she was not being completely honest when she said that with God’s grace she is clear of drugs.  They ALL seem to include the phrase “with God’s grace” so I’m assuming she did, too.  It’s disillusioning to her fans, I’m sure, but it’s not as if we haven’t been through all of this before

Stand Your Ground -Don't Surrender Your Rights

"Take Away the rag from your face, for Now ain't the time for your tears - - (yet)"
-Bob Dylan

There are a number of unpleasent realities people have to face with the reality of growing up Black, or any number of other minorities in other countries.  I guess the latest charge it's fashionable for Cops to nab almost anybody on is B W B, breathing while Black.  Dylan in the song "Neighborhood Bully" has the song lyric of 'He is made to live by the rules the World makes for him" referring to the Jew in this case.  I guess there is a certain moral hirearchy of culpability though.  If you have the Crapp-OR and the Crap-ee,  it might be inferred as an implicit duty of the Crap-ee to take all evasive action he can to avoid being crapped on.  He shouldn't have to but if he's smart he will.  If there is excriment dropping from the ceiling eves, then he knows not to stand under an eve.  If there is crap on the road he should step around it.  To the extent that the crap-ee takes Evasive action and the Crap-por continues to pursue him, this increases the Guilt of the Crap-por.  Of course you should realize that some people like FOX like to Lie, to the point of virtually making stuff up.  It's almost fair to surmise that if we lived in the early days of NAZI Germany, it would be FOX news disputing the "false charge of racism" against the Nazi government.  Suppose you're Adolph Hitler and knew the future and knew that in twelve years millions of Jews would be dead because of him, and what then if we saw him one early night before bed - - weeping for all of the Jews that would soon die.  Would not this be a completely hypocratic act?  Now follow me on this.  And just suppose Hitler in a move to perhaps bolster FOX news' credibility said he was going to hold a "Jewish redemption rally" where "the unpleasentness of the past would be overlooked and forgotten".  What if Jews went to this rally not having any real idea or grasp of what to expect but they went anyway.  Then suppose the whole time these Jews were insulted- - just pummeled verbally by the speaker, and at the end of it all the pastor lifts up his hands and declares, "Let us now pray for the redemption of your souls".  What if they all walked out of the meeting.  Would this be a "rejection of an offer" by the Jews?  He could then say "You had your chance but now you will truely face certain destruction".  People like Neil Savedra would say "I never engage in such hypothetical terms".  Well if you know me, what I say on a lot of stuff is a lot less "hypothetical" than you may think, so a word to the wise. Others would say "maybe a wrong against a teenage Black was comitted in Florida, but I see no call to go throw a bunch of Liberal protests over this puny little issue".   What these people are really saying is "Sure I screw over minorities, but the Least you people can do is not make me feel so Unfomfortable while I am doing it".  As I say a lot of my remarks are not as hypothetical as you think.  Ghandi says "Let the Nazi's come to England.  We won't fight them.  We have our minds.  We'll resist them with our thoughts".  Well how much of a MIND do you think you will have LEFT if there are no signs of overt resistence to the Nazis.  No guns from our side firing- - no protests from our side going on.  Anybody who DID resist Nazi invasion under such circumstance would feel very Alone. (Selah)  You know Neil Savedra has another saying which is "God doesn't allow do-overs".  If he meant this in the Stewart Sutcliffe meaning of the term, I would have to agree with him.  On one Bewitched show there is this airport scene where a jilted Japanese man is about to return to his own country.  And Samantha backs up time a few seconds seeing an Opportunity here.  And this one attractive oriental young woman turns "Hello" to him in "take two".  But there ARE no "take twos" in this life.  And frankly "I can live with that".  I don't really think I have that many really Mistakes in life that were clearly avoidable.  Unfortunately, this is not how Neil Savedra means it.  Rather he is invoking the "One False Move and you Get It' doctrine, espoused by such people as Pete Richards and Pastor Mark and himself.  They are looking for the tiniest flaw in your character and when they find it they will play that tape over and over again in their minds, and NOT allow you to EVER show that this perception of you is wrong.  Redemption is a four letter word to a lot of people, especially when they have you already charged, tried, and convicted of some high offence, way before there is a hint of it ever being comitted.  These people don't condemn you based on DOING but rather for BEING - - be it Black or whatever.  Throw in Bill Halliday's name to this list here.  You can kind of look at it this way.  If you are a judge of Apples at the county fair and you bite into an Apple and declare "I can honestly tell you that this is NOT one of the best ten apples I've ever had in my life".  That would be fair or proper judging.  However if you rather say "You know - - you planted an illegal apple orcherd in violation of the socialist government's agriculture policies and I'm going to see to it that you are arrested and thrown in jail".  This is another kind of "Judging" and that's the kind that Neil does.  As his good buddy Walter Martin was so fond of saying while he was still alive, "There is enough sin in a new born baby to send him to Hell a thousand times over".  And THAT is where these people stand on "Judging".   As to the matter of conduct tword the Cops- - you should absolutely be complient and give them no cause for any sort of complaint about you that might justify their itchy trigger fingers.  In such cases in my judgement, it is better to be a Live coward than a Dead hero.  Because you will be a truely unsung hero that nobody save for the Almighty alone, will ever know about.  As the adage goes "Dead witnesses tell no tails".  (Selah)

April 9, 1865 - Abraham Lincoln:  "Well Mr. Lee, your groupies in Military School couldn't save you this time now could they?"

Gen Robert E Lee:  "Watch me now, I'm signing my John Hancock to this surrender paper, but be warned that the seeds of hostility you have planted lo these past four years, will come back to haunt you"

As to the matter of the Texas History books and storage in the cloud- - - the internet, this was a matter of instant concern to me when broached on the Nicole Sandler show today.  It's an astute person that is able to pick up on a real threat- - not a phoney one but a real one - - - while it's still a long ways off and that way you can do something about it.  I'm not sure whether that bank teller today thought I was nuts for depositing some of my small meager cash into my account which stood at over a thousand dollars.  I told her I was in iminent fear of an Overdraft, and I was- - despite what the numbers looked like.  So I can see how if knowledge comes to be stored on line and also that Corporations love to "buy up" things so that even singing 'It's a Small World" without Disney permission is a crime- - you see where this is going.  Paul Mc Cartney did not even own his own music.  Michael Jackson did.  Who knows what things we take for granted in every day life today will be the corporate property of tomorrow - - some would even say "substances produced by our own bodies" could be included here.  Certainly the DNA of fruits and vegetables can be not only copyrighted but also "copy protected' after a sort, since these seeds will not reproduce.  If Texas calls the piper's tune for the rest of us on the education front, then if they want to expunge people like Ban Franklin and Thomas Jefferson from our history books, the time may come when we are unable to stop them.  At a time when budgets are being cut back.  the Tea Party wants to "make sure the students have the very newest text materials" even if they are ones that they made up just this past year on virtually no research.  (Selah)

Some people say that "These liberals are just hoping that someone will be killed in these Wall Street Occupy protests" because it will "help our cause".  I'm not really sure how a death, and a sudden one, is an inducement for others to do anything, besides stay away.  Death is a horrible thing and when it's an unjust death it intimidates and horrifies and outrages us.  And the worst part is when it's played on FOX news- - it'll all be turned around so that the killers are made out to be the Heroes - - somehow.  You know Jack Kennedy had a saying of "only when our Defences (arms) are sufficient beyond doubt- - can we be certain - -Beyond Doubt - - that they will never be employed.  But today I say to you that only when your patience with your oppressors and harrassers and those who trouble you- - - only when you patience with such people - - and I'm definitely including religious indoctrination here- - - only when your patience is Infinite - - Beyond Doubt - - in other words it hypothetically couldn't be extended any farther- - - can you then be Certain Beyond Doubt- - - that the Rage you later feel against them is Completely Justified - - Beyond Doubt.  Meditate on this truth with me.   Jack Kennedy also said at that Houston Ministerial association in 1960 that "it will be a sad thing if 40 Million babies lost their right to become President on the day that they were Baptized".  I would say in response that it would be a Pity is perhaps millions of people Lost their right to become President or hold other High Office, on the day that they decided AGAINST being baptized.  Chew on that one for a bit.  Some have argued that Atheists are even a more looked down and less respected segment of society than even the Islamicists are.  You know - - some people do not only resist being crapped on, they do things to engineer their own Deaths.  It's one thing to engineer the Death of another, such as George Zimmerman did with his "hot pursuit doctrine' or whatever.  But shouldn't engineering your own Death and then blaming a minority group such as the Palistinians, or the Jews or the Sameritans - - should that also not be chalked up as an act of first magnitude Hypocracy?   Christians say they are persecuted and yet we live in a "Christian society" like we live in a mainly White society.  Arabs and Iranians must face all sorts of cultural pitfalls every day of their lives.  On KTLK this morning they had a guy who was- - I'm not making this up,  He is a Latino, Gay, Mormon growing up in Texas, and his best friend growing up was his mother's gay hair dresser named Guido or something.  And then these men of the cloth get on their high horse pulpit and say "The trouble with all of you people out there is that you are Too Comfortable without Christianity".

Many people say that "Being right" is not important.  Dr. Phil is famous for his statement of "Would you rather be Right - - or Happy?"  My answer is that I would rather be Right, because in the end, if I'm not Right, then I'm not going to end up being happy, either.  Some don't care about "blame placing' at all.  I'm sure that Sanford police department about now is telling the Federal Investigators "OK let's not play the blame game (that's so petty)"  They don't say the later part.  Many parents will come upon a dispute with their kids where one kid continually bullies another and say "I don't care WHO started it - Knock It Off".  It doesn't take long before both Bully and Victum figure out that he really means it and both bully and victum know that the Bully now has been virtually given Carte Blanch to do whatever mischif it is in his heart to do because he alone will never be singled out for blame.  Some people have their own "Nine most dreaded words they ever want to hear" especially when it comes out of their own mouth.  The nine most dreaded words are "I made the whole thing up.  He didn't do it".  Maybe that's ten.  How about "I made the whole thing up.  It Never Happened".  There. Like Abigail had to utter today.  You know how they call it "Testa-lying" when cops get in the stand.  You know, some made up Stories have made themselves so Essential to the Egos of so many corrupt men, that giving them up is really hard.  Virtue can be and often IS its own reward.  Some people think they'll never have need of it any more then they'll need a smoke detector or a life preserver.  But the Virtuous people know that they have protections at their disposal the guilty know nothing about.  Also it most be hell for congenital liars when they know they have lied a lot and now their boss if playing mind games when then.  But they aren't dropping the big bomb on them yet.  Instead they are "cat and moused" to death.  And at first they are threatened with trivial things and they think, "I am safe".  And when they do drop the bomb, the congenital liar goes and cries to her friends, "She was unfair to me.  She had the information on me all along and she just Sprang it on me one day when I least suspected"  boo - hoo   You know - moral tests exists in many forms.  As I told Dr. Levy last Monday if I were God and I said "just to test them" for them to go out and murder their own child just to see what they would do.  And if they actually Intended to Go Through with it and I had to intervene to Stop them - - in my view they just FAILED the test.  No truely Moral person would consider even for a second slaying their own Son, no matter how much I as God threatened or Cajoled them.  Some things are absolute - - sacrosanct, and I believe innocent Human Life is one of them.  (Selah)   Larry Elder makes a hero of Abraham Lincoln.  It could well be that more Black people have suffered because of President Lincoln's actions - - than any other President because he lit a fire of hatred under southerners for Blacks - - that burned and grew hotter.  The seeds of today's bigotry that are now being reaped, were planted by President Abraham Lincoln.  And people like Larry Elder are too dense to see that.  (Selah)

Steel and Glass

The lead story today is that "Etch a Sketch' moment, where Mitt Romney was referred to as a kid's toy that you could just "shake down" to a blank screen after each use to describe how Mitt Romney could be "reset" after each Stat's primary campaign, and "reset" again for the fall campaign.  The remark was in response to some CNN interview where the host asked "Couldn't Mitt Romney' campaign prove too conservative for the actual fall Campaign?""  Obviously it's one of those classic "gaffs" that naturally Santorum and Gringrich are going to pounce on, because it's too good of a tempting target to ignore.  I question whether the observation is actually fair to Romney because as Pete Richards points out, and I have observed myself, Mitt Romney has run a conservative campaign ever since he was still governor and was interviewed in 2005 by the Heritage foundation (?) about the possability of a Presidential campaign and was already "re-shaping" his stances on such issues as abortion.  Santorum said of Mitt in 2008 that "If you want a Conservative in the White House in 2009, you will vote for Romney".  My complaint, and this is an a-political, pragmatic observation, is that Mitt Romney has been a candidate who has "failed to grow" during the course of the campaign.  Sure he started off a little awkward, but you hoped it was "something he would grow out of", but he never did.

There are a few people, who are even gun owners, who are willing to step up to the plate on this whole Trevon shooting issue.  One gun owner, and I heard the sentament echoed on a KTLK show yesterday, was that the whole "stand your ground" self defence law never invisioned a guy pursuing another guy to the extend of getting in his car and chasing him down.  And Trevon's girlfriend said "Run home" but Trevon told her over the phone "I'm not doing to do that" because Black's mothers tell them not to run.  I believe some parent told me never to run if you ever saw a vicious dog that was threatening you.  Contrary to what others day,  you get the better of a dog by staring them down and showing them you are not afraid.  But obviously if you run they'll think you're a cat and their "hunter instincts" will take over.  At any rate, when a man gets into his car and tracks you down and then gets out of his car and threatens and corners you, it can hardly be called "self defense".  One old later later on in Stephanie's show, was remarking about the racism that has crept into this whole reelection campaign.  The racism of four years ago rather than abating as people realize the President was not a "gorilla in the mist" or some black ignoramus in office, but fully qualified.  Rather than abate, the racism has doubled down and reinforced itself and gotten more vicious.  Now they show Black people with missing teeth, or a gorilla, or signs that say "Don't Re-NIG in 2012".  And FOX news plays right into the hands of racism and prejudice and deception the way they have finally gotten around to covering the George Zimmerman shooting case.  They say "The liberals wouldn't even bring it up except they use it as a tool to go after lawful gun owners".  FOX's coverage is so biased, nobody could call it anything but an organ of the right wing propaganda machine.  Someone pointed out that the sentament of "Obama is a Moslem" is repeated dozens of times over FOX news, and every time Sean Hannity opens his mouth he's reciting another example of how the President is furthering the Radical Islamic Campaign.  I think perhaps Stephanie could have done one thing different with the gun owner she had on is that she didn't "let him talk".  He was actually on her side, but it almost seemed as if she were trying to intimidate him and force him into retreating behind the usual right wing rhetoric.

I continue to get this propaganda from the Right.  One person says she sent me a whole host of videos talking about either how this is a Phoney Oil crisis, which we don't have at all, and all the petroleum discovered in the Arctic will power the United States for 150 years, or else there are secret plans of Obama to declare a national Emergency under his new Executive Powers, and take constitutional rights away from every American Citizen.  I am concerned about one thing, or charge against Obama I've heard on a recurring basic. This is the one that says that John Boehner wanted to compromize last August on the debt crisis, and go for revenue raising measures to solve the problem but that the President rejected the move on political grounds because he thought it would be better in 2012 if he "Ran against a do nothing Congress".  If the President actually believe this, in his own words, he was "Acting Stupidly" because at that time the President sucked in the polls, and people loved their newly elected radical right wing congress.  I believe if you base a whole campaign in a LIE and a deception, you are in an ongoing state of unconfessed Sin, and need to address THAT situation before you do another thing.  That's how I would handle it.

So what the hell, you ask, does "Steel and Glass" refer to?  I don't know.  It's just a John Lennon song and I don't understand it either.  I don't understand a lot of things.  Like the line "your teeth are clean, but your mind is capped.  You leave your smell - - like an alley cat".   Both John Lennon and Bob Dylan seemed to lose their lyrical image "focus' after a certain point and lost their moral clarity.  Dylan in 1979 sings "There's spiritual warfare- - flesh and blood breaking down, when the truth's in our hearts - and we still don't Believe".  I don't know.   How about "Our lives together are so precious - - we have grown - - we have grown".  OK fine.  Now instead of being a moral crusader he goes to LA and stuffs himself on Burger King whoppers and pizzas and has affairs with women and gets addicted to heroin.  And after he's done with that record he locks himself in his New York apartment for five long years, becoming increasingly xenophobic and paranoid, and hardly writing at all.  If that's "growth", it's a whole other definition than the one I'm familiar with.  As to some of my adaptations of Flicker photographs, you would hardly recognize a lot of them because not to toot my own horn or anything but with the vast array of tools at my disposal, me or anybody could make radical improvements in all sorts of photos where many people would dismiss them as mediocre, and I saw "Potential" in the raw photograph and decided to "Go for it".

Right now I'd like to go on kind of a Grandpa Simpson rambling rant where my goal is to connect up a lot of the dots and make you see the picture more clearly and all of the relationships.  In my striving for brevity in conceisness upon the initial draft here, i missed a lot of the "bits that I left up town", so to speak, that Jim Morrison reminded now that I should definitely include.  Jim Morrison is a person who didn't believe in "selling out".  He did not sell out one bit when he founded the Doors.  They always did exactly the sort of music they wanted to record, and Ed Sullivan wasn't going to tell them any different.  And there is the song "Frankie Lee and Judas Priest", which is about the whole idea of owing money because you "sold out".  Never allow someone else to own you.  Of course Jim Morrison in his Ramses I incarnation in Egypt didn't want to "sell out" as he feared his half brother alias "Me" was intending to do.  I was going after this desert Midianite myth about this desert god of a forefather named Abraham.  In Federation loore,  the Jews are not descended from Abraham per se, and Abraham never says they were.  Rather the Jews are referred to as "Perezites" by the Federation because of one son who was born "In a breech", which if the definition carries over, it means he came into the world ass first.  His mother, Tamas says "How hast thow broken forth?"   There is another Tamar you may be more fermiliar with, who was Absolem's Sister, whom half brother Amnon raped.  As I understand it from Theologians, the word "Tamar" both in Federation and Bible lore has the meaning of either "Beauty" or "perfection" or perhaps most key here, "Innocence".  And Absolem rose up and killed half brother Amnon, because father David would take no action against half brother Amnon, and Absolen told his father "Is not your daughter Tamar as good as dead because of this rape?"  However if you're looking for Tamar giving birth to the child of the rapist in this story, you won't find it here in the Bible.  So the whole abortion of "having the rapist's child" does not even have to come up.  Of course King David was corrected by another Bible character, General Joab.  After Joab's men killed son Absolem in a civil war, King David lamented Absolem's demise and made such a spectical over it that Joab finally said to David "My King, I get the feeling that you would rather have seen the whole Israeli army wiped out - if it meant that your Son would still be Alive". This is whole Absolem saga of the rebellion in a Civil War, is not one of Jim Morrison's favorite Bible Stories, understandibly.  Because in it, Jim Morrison was incarnated as King Absolem's personal counselor, Ahithaphel.  (which sounds almost serpentine)  And Ahithiphel was out smarted in this story.  Later on Joab sided up with a Adonijah, which if you believe Chuck Smith was one of the two Hawaiians in the Bible because Pastor Chuck mispronounces the name as "A-Don-a-ha".  The other "Hawaiian" in the Bible would be Malachai, whom of course upset Satan by his strident prophicies against the enemies of God, and so Satan smote him with lepricy, which he died from.  OK, that isn't in the Bible either, but you gotta admit it makes a good story.  Jim Morrison wanted me to specifically remind you that there is absolutely no "familial" connection between the "Israelis" and the children of Esau or Edomites, or as the Federation refers to them as Idumians.  (pronounced "I-do-me-ins" to remember easily.  These are the residents of Aldeberan VIII, who have this mysterious connection with the Beta Centaurians.  I usually refer to them as Centaurians in my writings how most Federation people refer to them as "Betas".  People wonder whether the Betas are really psychic.  One observer put it like this.  "They may well be psychic among themselves but they don't have a Clue when it comes to gauging the minds or feelings of outseders".  Indeed when it comes to outsiders, the Beta people could almost be poster children for an Aspurger's Sydrone poster.  There you have the words Ass and Burger a little too close to each other in a sentense for comfort.  One of the biggest mortal enemies of the Centaurians are the Crestorians, who believe in "That Egyptian", or the guy who really was crucified on a cross on November 24th 29 AD in Jerusalem under Pilate, or was supposed to have been.  Robert Plant has had his run-ins with the Crestorians.  These Crestorians are the same people who brought us both Tarot Cards and most often your garden variety Satanism, and the upside down cross.  Stewart Sutcliffe has been on somewhat friendly terms with the Crestorians in the past.  I guess they use Fire a lot as a positive symbo.  I'm going to leave it here.  There is a whole lot of other stuff I had to say but it'll keep for another opportune moment.

Just Give Me That Old Time Racism

Our lead story is obviously that shooting in Florida.  Bob Dylan once had in a song lyric " - and the license to kill is given out to every maniac".  I forget the song.  This "self defense" law passed by Governor Jeb Bush when he was in power in 2005 states that you get to "stand your ground" and don't have to actually BE physically threatened or hide or retreat or attempt less deadly force before shooting the person you're suspicious of.  This guy named George Zimmer called the local police department at least 46 times over a period of only a few months.  His name was no doubt on the "frequent caller list" and it ain't like the frequent flyer list.  This is not a good thing.  It means he routinely wastes the local police department's valuable time in pursuing these false leads and having to expend costly man power on each and every call.  The thing is he's a really smooth liar because he makes the sort of calls that vaguely sound credible by stealth wording.  It's "my wife saw someone" or "now he's got something in his hands" or "This guy definitely has a screw loose" or "something's not right with him".  These are the things ordenary people would say with real complaints.  George Zimmerman was 28 and he gunned down an unarmed seventeen year old Black teenager who was returning from the store with a bottle of Arizona iced tea and a bag of Skittles.  He was screaming hysterically for help and everyone on the block called 9 - 11 to report what they were witnessing.  But these dispatchers have such ameoba like reflexes and all of them seem to be on qualudes or something because they hnever react.  Then the sound of a gun shot and the screaming stops.  And the witness says "There was a gun shot" and - - kind of an "Oh - - that's nice" from the other end.  That's what they might as well be saying.  It so happens because of this National Gun Association inspired law that "justifiable homocides" are now tripple what they were before this law was passed in 2005 and now seventeen states have such laws on the books, and people don't know.  George Zimmerman has never been charged for this crime even though it happened only three weeks ago and is only now getting into the national press.  The decedent's name is Travon Martin.  All these Black people have strange's names.  The victim's father is calmer in dealing with this situation than I'd be under the same circumstances.  I'll tell you that.  The entire local police department seems to be working to cover up the crime.  In these cases they never even test the shooter for drugs, even though they'll test the decedent for drugs.  The cases never see so much as a day in court but are automatically dismissed because of this law.  Now the Obama Administration today is filing Federal Civil Right's Law violation for a Hate Crime.  This case isn't a "shooting"; it was an Execution.  The cops falsely reported that teenage girl witness had backed up Zimmerman's "self defense" version of events, when just the opposite is actually true.  Normally law enforcement doesn't like these sort of Vigelante laws because they interfer with proper Law Enforcement procedures.  But with the NRA running loose it's a different story.  Zimmerman still has his gun.  And obviously has NOTHING to say in his own defense since ALL should be that if ever there was a Completely Unjustifiable killing, this one is it.  And yet none of the three or four Republicans have even weighed in on this crime.  This only goes to show that for all their "human life is precious" some life is more precious than others.  If it's a white fetus, then it's precious.  That's how they reason.  But neither Samtorum, Gingrich nor Romney DARES say ANYTHING about this crime for fear of upsetting their tea party base, which must be placatred at all costs.

The other news of the day is the revival of this Paul Ryan budget.  As you remember the President and the Republican Congress worked out a debt reduction deal where cuts would be made accross the board in the federal budget.  All of the candidates falsely reported that :"nothing has been done" to score debator's points, even though it isn't true.  The Paul Ryan budget slashes tasex from a low of 15% to a high of 35% down to a new rate of a 10% minimum and a maximum, even for billionaires, of 25%.  This Ryan plan slashes 5.3 Trillion with a T - - from the federal budget, in just one year I believe.  Rush was trying to tell us how much this ammount of money actually was.  Of course they want to restore defense spending so we will have the funding to wage the planned war with Iran whenever we get around to proviking it.  If you're an NRA gun slinger you know "You need to be proactive about these things".  So most of that 5.3 Trillion with a T dollars will come out of things like medicare and programs to help the poor and food stamps.  That's just the way people like Paul Ryan and Rush Limbaugh like it.  Of course Rush Limbaugh had the gall today to bring up this example of a one hundred year old woman, who "may be" denied money for surgical instelation of a pace maker.  As I understand heart pacemakers they are an elective surgery done by rich people with money in anticipation of many decades of life left.  How many children will be denied vaccines to prevent the next epidemic because that old lady needs to have her pacemaker.  These Republicans will never admit to so much as one old person being denied whatever tests and services the imaginations of the medicare people can come up with.  Clearly the program wastes money.  Of this there is no dispute.  But the bigger question is would the vast majority of these elder people benefit or be hurt by being thrown out into the health insurance private market to try and negotiate a new policy at their age?  People like Paul Ryan never think that far ahead.  Obviously they couldn't and large numbers of people would die needlessly, rather than do a sensible budget trimming plan of the current system everybody could agree on.  I hardly see how such a massive tax rate slash  could possible INCREASE federal revenues.  The answer it doesn't it never has.  It didn't under Reagan and it didn't under Bush.  It's not as if we're talking theory here.  Clinton raised taxes and revenue went up.  Perhaps one of these days these people like Paul Ryan and Rush Limbaugh will figure out how gravity works.

Today is the day of the Illinois primary and once again it's pretty immiterial who wins.  The media has lied about one thing.  They have falsely stated that NOBODY can win now because too much time has passed and there are not enough remaining deligates in a three or four way race for any one person to get the majority.  This is very false.  Romney only has just over 500 deligates and he's in first place and 1100 are required to win by 51% which means that almost twice that many will be sent to the concention.  The race is still obviously wide open.  Not even Ron Paul is mathematically excluded from a first ballot victory at this point but the media isn't telling you that.  Illinois itself has only 56 deligates.  At that rate we're going to have to have an awful lot more primaries before we even get CLOSE to that 1,000 figure.  Of course now women are organizing for President Obama.  Rush started to talk about a New York times article on "disaffected people who voted for Obama in 2008".  But Rush Limbaugh, just like Neil and so many others can't even follow a logical train of thought they themselves initiate.  Because Rush got off on this kick of "Well there are those soft liberal republicans who disagree with the President here and there".  And then "There are the true blue people like you and me who HATE this President".  And the unspoken line "The way every Good American should feel".  I said last July around the first I recall that I felt Obama should not run again.  That's because the cry heard today is much left "That Democrat so and so" but rather that OBAMA so and so.  It's Obama this and Obama that.  The President has become almost the exclusive focus or repository of all their hates and prejudices.  And we know where too much Hate is gathered together on one place that spontanious combustion can and does occur.  I think Rush is delighted with discord.  In fact he has admitted he thrives on it, such as "opperation chaos" four years ago with tampering with a democratic primary.  Rush made a few remarks today about "his radio program being under attack".  I imagine all those sponsors who have left him, be it 23 or a higher number, aren't coming back and Rush Limbaugh is a permanent drop in revenues for whatever radio station he happens to be on.  One might think market laws would take over soon.

I've been mentally distracted today.  I have discovered a potential check overdraft problem due to automatic deductions- - a program I did not want.  In another area one individual has flaked out on me at least twice and I'm wondering if he's going for a third time- - - or it's a total loss.  It's no secret that Christian's track record with me sucks, and the more Power they have, either over me or as representatives of the Faith- - or both - - the more destructive they are.  I was thinking of doing a whole article called "Can God Be Saved" but  pretty soon concluded that He couldn't be, if you're talking about the Christian Church, which like a five time Iraqi vetteran, by now has had all the humanity bled and conditioned out of him.  Sometimes a part of me wonders whether there is any place for "The Church" in modern society.  I was telling someone the other day even if the Moslems followed their own Teachings, they would be much better people.  Well I've got to go.  Time is awasting.  Bye.

CBS News estimates that Mitt Romney will defeat Rick Santorum and his other rivals to take the Republican presidential primary in Illinois. The estimate is based on early exit poll results and vote totals.
With 18 percent of precincts reporting, Romney had 88,870 votes to Santorum's 44,377. Ron Paul was in third with 14,872 and Newt Gingrich in fourth with 10,934.

Moving Tword a Faceless America

First let’s talk a little about Technology and the march of the future.  Yesterday on his show, Leo Le Port said that Google I thought (?) was developing a GPS device for auto controlled cars that drive themselves through the streets safely obeying traffic laws, without any sensors laid down in the streets.  Leo said the technology of today allows them not to need anything in the road for it to work.  He said there would come a time when it was far less necessary for people to actually OWN cars but merely to summon one up like you’d call your pooch over.  You’d say you “need a car in fifteen minutes” and then use the car and I guess the car would drive itself to your place and then return itself to the dealer after you were done.  This would cut way down on the need for garage and parking spaces in public places if these cars, that could be whistled for like dogs, returned to their “homes” or were summoned by another user the next hour.  It would cut down on gasoline sales, too.  Republicans must already find it troubling that the average car mileage will almost double in just a couple of decades from now.  They are counting on people spending more money for gasoline so they’ll have an energy issue to campaign on.  Last night on Sixty Minutes they had that whole space travel thing.  Now for the first time in 55 years the United States has no way of launching a manned rocket into space.  We are hurling backwards.  Now private corporations are taking up the slack, much as President Obama hoped they would.  But astronauts Neil Armstrong and Gene Sernen testified before congress this would be a bad thing and that President Obama is making a big mistake by pritizing Space travel.  So now the Republicans are actually against privatization in an area where they wish to see more and not less government involvement.  This one company took a gamble and launched three rockets and none of them was able to achieve earth orbit but they all failed.  So they went for a fourth eight weeks after the third launch because they had isolated a two second booster rocket firing timing error that they would now correct.  This time the launch worked, so they had more funding.  Then they had other successes including launching capsules designed for up to seven men to travel in. (?)  So that’s an inspiring story.  The Republicans as a rule seem dedicated in most areas to insuring the preservation of a Past, that in many cases “never was” to begin with.
The whole thing about Proto-Pagliosis or that whole face blindness thing is interesting.  I have always been rather weak with identifying faces compared to other people.  You change make up, cut your hair, and change the color and it definitely throws me.  And in terms of all that age regression of faces stuff, forget it.  They said that if you are exceptionally good at recognizing faces this was also a bad thing, because people will accuse you of being a stalker because “you’re not supposed to know who I am”.  Stephen King once has a short story called ‘I know what you want”.  Knowing too much about any one person could be considered intrusive.  But they use those oval things and that makes it a lot harder.  A lot of people go by things as body build and hair and head shape and ears and jaw line as well as the eyes, nose, and mouth within the Ovel they show.  Turning a face upside down per se shouldn’t be any problem, though.  But I do know that others most often will identify me in a crowd before I identify them, in most cases.  And it has crossed my mind that perhaps a few relationships have been short changed because of this.   Of course on that Family Guy thing Stewie ran this experiment of total memory wipe and it was to answer the question “Would two best friends still be best friends and know and trust each other if their knowledge of the other were completely wiped out”.  The answer was in the affirmative of yes they would.  I think this issue personally transfers to meeting people who you knew in a previous incarnation.

OK I guess you have one of these Emitt Till type situations or at least “Emitt Till Light”.  You have this “Neighborhood Watch” guy who’s had trouble with the cops in the past but the charges were dropped presumably because he was white.  Then you have this other (Black?) guy who goes to the local 7 – 11 to buy a bag of Skittles and a can of soda and is walking home.  The Neighborhood Watch guy didn’t like him and believed him to be an “undesirable” (Black?) who shouldn’t be in that store.  So he begins chasing him and the guy runs and falls.  And the Neighborhood Watch guy stands over him, and the kid pleads for his life and the guy looks right at him and shoots him execution style, and the law enforcement of Florida looks the other way as though everything is fine.  The 9 – 11 people were harassed with phone calls like forty of them or whatever from this one guy over a short period of months, and  there are other incidents of “moral perpitude” and injustice occurring in the State of Florida.  And Rick Scott and all the other authorities in Florida with these vigelante laws, none of them are speaking up.
So why was I channeling or was I just “being me” in all of those song lyrics quotes?  Maybe myself but maybe “Burt Lombard”, who is mysterious even for a “walk in”.  There was a “counter movement” going on in my psyche as apposed to all of the ‘Jesus Stuff” in 1971.  I think groups like Black Sabbath just nailed the ethical issues down a hell of a lot better than the morally bereft Calvary Chapel people do.
I wanted to talk about this “thing” I have about the bifurcating of God into the moral aspects of reality,  which I call the Karmic realm, and then there is the reality of the physical world.  I pitched this idea to Dr. Levy a week or so ago and to my surprise he went for it.  I don’t know if he would have gone for it as readily if he knew I was actually talking about a bifurcation of God Himself.  I told you I have now come to be a physical determinist, or physical Calvinist.  But whatever the physical reality, we have certain moral and karmic duties that must not be shirket and we are to use whatever free will we do have to make the best decision with information known at the time.  I at times have referred to this belief as Physical Marcionism.   I’d like to talk about regular Marcionism for a minute and it’s role in formatting the Church as we know it.  As you know Marcionism is Gnostic in the sense that you get “saved” in it by having an inexplicable “experience” with a Higher Power.  And this Power instantly changes your life forever for the better and makes you as a new Moral  Creation.   St. Paul was the chief proponet of Marcionism.  Marcionism goes so far as to say that if something “isn’t of God” it is not just corrupted or highly depraved but Totally Depraved.  So this world and everything about the world is totally depraved.  This includes the God, Jehovah, who created it, and all the angelic realms of the Old Testament, and the O T Laws, which are as it were a “covenant with death”.  It strikes me that St. Paul may be a made up person with the intend of giving a “frame” for Marcionite doctrine.  There is this Christ of Deliverence entity in Marcionism.  My latest theory is that Titus, who was not “compelled to be circumcised even though he was Greek”, had this imaginary character whom he called Timothy, which was a disciple of Marcion’s imaginaty character Paul.  Paul means “little and it’s interesting that the fiction goes St. Paul has no personal charisma, and did all he accomplished on the mere strength of God’s word.  It doesn’t  work like that in life.  Timothy means “honoring God”.  And Titus wanted HIS imaginary character  to “honor God” a little more than Marcion’s imaginary character Paul.  Titus did make his fictional character a trusted disciple of Paul.  And in the two books of Timothy and one of Titus, some of the Marcionite doctrine is backed away from, just a bit.
I had this dream there was this “movement’ that was also a book and a movie, but the movie was to propagate the reality of this new Ministry or “Way to Live” program.  But in the Novel (even I’m confused)  this movement takes off and people are joined and beguiled by this man’s words, but then in January of 2009 everything changes and the guy tries to take over and Earth is a battleground, not too unlike Stephen King’s “The Stand” novel where cities have anarchy and marshal law is instated by this Cult leader.  Also I’ve had this recurring time line as you know in the “other life” dreams - - - where the late part of the “ought” decade like 2007 on - - one of these summers I have amnesia for four months because I’m in the Hospital from late April to August or something, and then I’m with my family on vacation but there are still gaps in my memory.  This has been kind of a recurring scenario.  But in this ‘Novel” I think it’s like January of 2011.  And the battle toes on for months till about June.  There are these “two kinds of matter” and this is another recurring theme of my dreams”.   You’re either a “One’ or a “Two” and mot of us are “Ones”.  But to even physically contact a “two does strange things to your body and your orientation goes weird and you get dizzy and you can’t think straight and may have electrical shock sensations in your body till you get used to being around “twos”.   Then you can’t stand the “Ones”.  This cult leader seemed to have his own “reality” about things kind of like the Marcionite “spiritual reality” which seems entirely in someone elses’ head.  And sometimes the leader would transform himself into a black cat, that would show how much it liked you by either being friendly and purring or jump out and attacking you.  And it would watch you and try and read your motives.  But then another “chapter’ in the book appeared that I read.  In this chapter the Cult Leader decided to give up his powers and  content himself to being just your garden variety snake oil salesman and Wayne Dyre quack just like any other of these clowns on TV.

Are we Slated for a "Progressive Spring"?

So the question is will there be a "Progressive Spring"?   President Obama laid down the reality of the energy and gas price situation pretty well yesterday morning in Saturday address.  There is a "world market" on energy and people don't stop to think that even a solely "domestic production" of oil will be bowied up by the world market.  The idea that our two percent could affect world markets is absurd.  Perhaps if the President repeats this truth enough it will sink in.  Now they are saying on these Roundtables that Newt Gingrich wants to be this year's Warren G Harding and have a brokered convention and win on the 104th ballot or whatever and be the big Conservative Hero.  That figure can't be right.  Even the fourteenth ballot would be high considering these votes take perhaps an hour each.  The media can't spare that much air time nowadays.  Now they are saying that Gingrich is really Santorum's friend and opperates as his "wing man" because he is keeping Mitt Romney at bay, and even if they don't want Newt they may prefer Santorum.  Of course they showed commercials by Romney against Santorum and Chris Matthews rightly says these charges are rather vapid.  The commercials by Santorum against Romney are better on a factual basis but on the surface sppear strikingly similar.  It's too much the "Brand A is better than Brand B" and it's all determined by what sort of dark music is playing or whether the photography is in black and white or in color.  However the appeal of the Romney people could backfire.  "Do you want a candidate who is practiced at screwing over the people economically, or would you prefer a man who's spent his whole life in government trying to help and serve his constituincy?  I haven't been one of these people that has used absolutist, extremist rhetoric against the moral politics of Santorum, as others have.  It's "not that important in the overall scheme of things as President".  It's a fair question.  As to whether these "Wall Street protests" will resurge again, I wish they wouldn't because "the point has already been made" and people's cnsciousness is raised on these issues.

Now with all of this global warming this new film on the "Cold planet world' takes on added significance of "this is a whole World that may not exist fifty years from now because there won't be any more cold weather'.  Those of you who have seen the winter scenes in "Fantasia" know that there is real beauty in the Winter season of the year.  Ironically the tune played during these winter scenes is "Waltz of the Flowers" for those of you who are "cracked up" for classical music.  This movie shows the interrection of a mother polar bear and her cubs, and when when a young one makes noise and spoils a hunt, the mother puts him in "time out".  And you have scenes of penguins and such that look as of they were choriographed.  You have snow flakes forming and underwater shots with whales hunting seals or whatever.  And you have wolf hunts where there was danger to the photographers.  You have an extraordenary ammount of patience and time by the whole production crews.  You have technically excellent photography.   The first three photos I downloaded last night from Flicker are extraordnary.  This photo here was actually "tweaked" so it's an even better photograph color and composition wise, than the original in my oppinion.

The whole bit about bullying is brought to the forefront now by this new documentary movie on bullying that's rated PG 13 but people advise you to see it even from "family groups".  As loathesome for me as it is to say it I have to concur with Neil Savedra's little opening speech this morning on KFI.  Perhaps this film should have been rated PG 11 or something, because eleven year old boys in particular should see it.  If they aren't in Junior High, they will be next year and become apprised of those realities.  Of course when we visited that "Family Counselor" in July of 1968 the guy there kind of intoned things Neil was complaining about of "You really shouldn't use such coarse language talking about this stuff".  But the reality is you HAVE to get down to the nitty gritty and explain the reality of certain situations, even ones that exist in your own family.  Actually I was in four official fights in Jr high.  One in seventh grade, two in the eighth, and one in the ninth and the one in the ninth was with a bigger and tougher guy.  The results of all four confrontations was "indecisive", kind of like Santorum in Ohio.  The four names of the combattants are James Kilppenstein (he looked like his name sounds) Brent Jones, Bob Ottis, and Greg Barthalamew.  I was not in any actual fights in High School however my interractions with Ron Adams in the latter part of my Sophamore year were definitely a bullying type situation.  Before then I never had any negative impressions of "Jocks" but this guy changed all that.  Of course Carl Babb in nineth grade was understandably offended when I told him that his rock band was definitely the worst of the three bands that performed in the tallent show concert the other night.  Around here there was Marcus Blackwell who was bigger than I was and a little younger and definitely had the more dominent of the two personalities.  He used "coarse language" in the pressence of Janet, and it was a bad a reflection on her as it was on him.  I kept thinking "Why are you saying all this crap.  There's  Lady present".  In another situation I probably would have taken more "proactive action" to shut him up, however they'll kick you out of here if you fight.  Sometimes there is such a gap in ability between the you and the person you are challenging that the other guy doesn't consider you worth it.  One time in the eighth grade I confronted ninth grader Al Lopez because he was slapping and shoving Janis Freeze around and I stepped in and said "Hey, don't you treat her like that".  He just looked at me like I was crazy or something and I slinked away.  However I think that event scored points with Janis because she was friendlier tword me after that.  And then we have Ken Brown from around here in March or so of 2006.  This guy was a holy terror around here and he was a BIG guy, like a track star or a football player, and he looked young enough to be my son or something.  If you saw Ken Brown in the halls the smart thing to do was head the other way.  He didn't last too long around here but definitely had a hair-trigger and "anger management" problems.

Of course Ken Brown is the name of the original Silver Beetle bass player back when they were playing at the Casbah Club in Mona Best's basement.  Actually this was earlier in latter 1959 when the going term was "Johnny and the Moon Dogs".  One night Ken Brown was sick and didn't play.  The next day John Lennon threw a spaz when Mrs. Best paid him along with the others when he didn't play.  It sounds like something I might have said.  (I've never been a fan of Jesus' workers in the vinyard parable.)  The thing is I don't even think he was sick.  In fact he was actually There that night.  He just didn't play.  Later on after Stewart became the bass player someone said to the Beatles, it may have been Alan Williams, "Your band still doesn't have a drummer.  How can you play gigs without a drummer?" to which one of the Beatles said "Oh, we're such a naturally rhythimical band we don't need a drummer".  About the only parrellel situation in this life that occurs to me was in the early days of the Savanna Band when the band was rehearsing a song called 'Rock Band Jazz" without the drums present for some reason.  I thought "We sound pretty good".  But then when the drums showed up what struck me is how LOUD the drums sounded, to the point of being surpurfelus, and I was thinking "We almost sounded better without the drums".

The LA Marithon is kind of a right of spring around here.  The sun just came out.  Of course we should have fast times this year because it's cool weather.  Also they keep changing the course, and this year and a few years past it's been almost all downgrade from Dodger Stadium to the sea at Santa Monica, so we should get fast times.  Of course breakfast was a joke this morning.  We wern't served till five after eight after getting there at a quarter after seven, and we got a ham and salami sandwich because they ran out of eggs.  You are at the table waiting for your meal when half the dining room is already vacated and they are already cleaning off the tables there.  It's exasperating.  Yesterday I was wondering whether the computer was opperating on mental telepathy. I was "thinking" about copying files and I'd often start to mark them off but never hit Copy and yet you would see miltiple images of photos appear- - - not at the target destination of the Hitchi hard drive but in the current drive.  So I don't know what the Hell was going on.  We are getting needed showfall in the mountains and their slogan is "better late than never".  Today is March 18th.

I would venture one more slice of advice about Neil and his "Church laws" speech.  He says "Many non believers don't understand why the Church has so many rules and regulations.  Well they are to Protect the people from harm".  I would say to that that you need some kind of an outside religion Ombudsman, to PROTECT you FROM the Church, or at least keep they apprised as to what is happening.  I hear that word "Protect" and isn't this how every despotic kind since time began sees himself as a "Protector" of the people?  And I think of that Planet of the Apes thing where the Orangitangs defended the outright Lies they were telling the people under the guise of 'We are protecting the People from a Truth that would be too Painful for them to bear".  Spare us!  What strikes me as really funny about people like Chuck Smith saying "People criticize Christianity without spending twenty minutes in serious study of the Bible".  If me means in Seminary Class like he did, I'll grant that.  But it's a downright insult to himself as well as us when he implies that spending maybe ten years listening to nothing but Christian sermons doesn't contain at least "twenty minutes of Bible knowledge".  Are they Really saying their Own sermons are that Vapid?  Rev. Bill Halliday has kind of intoned the same sentaments using even less tactful terms.  I would repeat the adage, "Before you Accuse Me, Take a Look at Yourself".  (Selah)

If President Obama Really Wants to Win in November

For all the talk that Mitt Romney is an unsuitable candidate for the Republicans to put up in November, even the tea party members themselves will concede that he is the best man to pitch the conservative or at least anti Obama positions that so many in the nation's heartland hold.  Even the evangelical set will go for Romney as a man of "Basic Christian Values".  But the major thing is that in a head to head contest between Willard Romney and the President it's a 47% to 47% tie.  Many are wondering whether this balance will tilt in the Republicans' favor should gasoline prices rise even higher and particularly if it impacts the current favorable economic growth numbers.  It may be that the President has to run against a phantom of himself that doesn't exist in reality.  However the Romney line of "I've actually had a job and been successful in the private market" is a line that's selling well now.  "Community Organizers" are not seen as who we need to guide this economy out of its doldrems.  But the President can still win if he eliminates one besetting issue and "compromises" on one of his own Pet projects whose vision the people of America do not share.  This is the whole issue of socialized health care.  And this is just how Romney will play it.  There are roomers of new taxes scheduled to go into effect next year that the Republicans say will "hurt business and job creation.  So what the President needs to do is ask for TV time for a major Presidential announcement and announce that he's scrapping the whole idea of mandentory signing up for an insurance company on a "Government approved exchange".  He can tell the people that he's listened to them and heard their voice, and concluded that just as America should not be asked to support a foreign war that they do not agree with, they should not be asked to support a domestic "war" of sorts, the premises of which they do not agree.  He can say "I exceded my perogatives as president and violated the rights of Church in attempting to mandate what sort of health care they should provide.  The last thing I wish to be known for as President is to have been the one who trod under the First Amendment.  Besides all this the Supreme Court has yet to rule on the Constitutionality of the Health Care Statute as enacted in 2010.  It would be foolish to have an adverse court ruling in the middle of a massive transformation of the Health Care industry that might not even be constitutional.  I shall therefore issue an executive order canceling any further execution of these provision of the Health Care Statute.

There is a video out now I tried to find but didn't get the right one where the President's actions as far as the killing of Bin Laden are concerned.  Joe Byden stressed that the President has a tough choice to make and he had to make it Alone.  The joint chiefs of staff were divided on what the President should do.  Many said success of this mission was a 55% to 45%.  This is the type of decisions people elect a President for.  Four years you didn't know his President because he was an untried comodity but you trusted your instinct and voted for him anyhow, and this President did not let you down.  He brought home the troops from Iraq and has kept the world safe from any further 9 - 11 attacks.  At the same time this President has stepped up border patrols to go after illegal aliens even more agressively than the Bush administration did.  This President has continued the security conscious Bush and Chaney administration policies on almost all areas involving your National Security, except that we no longer engage in torturing of US prisoners as our predecessors did.

But the biggest reason why we should elect this president over Gingrich or Romney is that either one of those candidates would crash the economy.  They would slash capital gains taxes which would invite a rash of sales of those investing in America when we want to achieve exactly the opposite.  This would result in a cascade of US capital leaving the country and would most likely crash the markets so that would see a grim replay of the horrible stock market conditions seen in the closing months of the Bush Administration.  This President, i would remind you worked closely with the Bush Administration in guiding the economy through those perilous times at the dawn of this administration.  On inoguration day of 2009 many people had abandoned hope.  This is now Hope we are slowly and surely in the process of regaining.  Don't allow any abrupt and untried changes by the Romney administration to upset things.  If you are on a crowded Freeway if one driver slams on the brakes because he thinks he sees something that wasn't even there and causes a chain reaction pile-up, so a massive cut in the Federal Reserve funding would cause an economic chain reaction and crack-up.  You don't hand the car keys back to the drunk who almost drove drove the car over the cliff to begin with.  A 40% cut in Federal Government Spending, which these people openly advocate, would wreak havoc on not only the economy as a whole, but on the individual lives of countless Americans.  We have guided this ship of the economy without causing a round of new inflation, which according to countless nay-sayers on the right say we should already be experiancing, but we're not.  Don't run away from a phantom that isn't there.

As to energy there are countless forms of energy we've only scratched the surface of.  You know about photo electric solar cells.  Recently the price has cone down on these so that for the first time they have become commercial viable.  This trend will continue.  In many areas of west Texas they are already using wind generated electric power extensively.  Tidal power by which the advancing and receding ocean tides power electric turbines, is a potential we've barely scratched the surface of.  In addition to these there are promising areas in geo thermal and Hydrogen cold fusion and also dio-disel.  Only an ostrage would hid his head in the sand and not admit that time marches on and forms of energy that were suitable for the nineteenth century are considerably less suitable in the 21st.  Just as horse drawn carriage became much less popular after the advent of the automobile.  Besides the natural march of time, the more immediate reasons for pulling away from petroleum energy sources is the specter of global warming.  I don't need to remind you of the warm winters most of you have enjoyed this year.  Such balmy climate doesn't come without a price in terms of decreased snow packs causing water droughts particularly in the West.  We can't be known as the only nation in the world that is NOT seeking to develope all these other alternative forms of energy  Nobody is suggesting that we make the transformation overnight.  But the danger of the Republican position is the necessity of doing it At All.  They would imagine that we stop the clock, or turn back to a time before the whole world reached peak oil production nearly a decade ago.  They are appealing to a reality that can no longer be.  Once we deal with all these reality, we can move forward as Americans.

Note on the last track we've dropped the last few verses and added one that I don't believe was there before.  On the verses dropped they refer to people who are dead now, and much younger then, and the humor of these two verses might be lost on the average listener of today, anyhow.
