The Right Wing's Sociopathic Ways

On the "Belle Isle" file I compile a rather extensive list of "thought images" that were shortcuts to me for memory.  One of these was "God is a sociopath".  I had said in March of 2010 I believe that one should always try and "put himself in the other person's shoes" and then qualify that with " - - unless he is a sociopath".  It is indeed interesting how the Bible comes out and admits that "Man cannot know God's ways, because God's ways are not man's ways".  If we really believe that passage in the Bible that should end the argument right there.  There IS no way we can cognitively "get inside God's head". A forenziac psychiatrist can try to get into the head of the sociopathic killer, but he or she may not always succeed.  Of course C S Lewis claims that every thought and conversation Satan has with his minions is in perfect conformity to Orthodox Christian theology - - at least as our Author defines it.  But you've got to know that in this life things are rarely mapped out all that neat and tidy.  There are twists and turns and permutiations in everything.  The Golden Rule will not work with Sociopaths, because you or I aren't sociopaths, so we can't possibly know how they feel or what perverse processes go inside their heads.  And frankly we should be glad we don't WANT to know, lest we ourselves start to by the most innocent of osmisis process- - absorb some of their pathological proclivities.  A sociopath has no "affect" or human feeling or compassion as we understand it.  Once we grasp this concept a lot of things - - at least involving man's interractions with God - - become a lot simpler.  Behold in first Sevedra 3:16 it says "God doesn't allow do-overs" and in time-physics this is a true statement.  We cannot go back and change the past.  There is no "undo the deed" manuver to reverse an evil spell someone cast on you several hundred years ago.  Only on Bewitched episodes.  The best we humans can hope for is to see the error of our ways and repent of an evil action and try and make amens for it, and hope for forgiveness.  But again according to Neil - - "When you come right down to it - - God litterally is incapable of forgiving even the smallest infraction of his law- because in order to do so he would have to compromise his own Perfection".  I'm not entirely sure that the one follows the other.  If I forgive a debt or some sin against me- - how is this "compromising my moral perfection?" which, of course I'm not, anyhow.  Of course a sociopath is a master at holding grudges, and of course imaginary grudges will suffice perfectly well.  In another analogy on that page is the analogy of the child's blocks.  And you cannot rearrange the order of the blocks in a line, without pulling blocks out of the line.  And in one dimensional time- - it's linear.  It's litterally the "way we are wired" and of course electrical and electromic wiring is a linear logic reality.  Not only do all of th4e parts have to flow in a contiguous manner with no disconnected parts, but neither may any of the paths cross each other.  Maybe there are other forms of Logic- - but for a mortal human being, which I assume everybody reading this blog is, non linear logic is a whole lot harder to mentally grasp.  I would almost raise the proposition to the level of establish therum that "Logic by its nature has to be linear to work with computers as we know them".  So is Neil Sevedra right.  Once you commit a sin does it reverberate and amplify around and go on affecting other people long after we ourselves have forgotten about it?  In many cases this is quite likely.  I guess all of us have to live this truth- - as long as we are imperfect beings.  But what the Tea Party demands is total perfection from its competetors- - while excusing itself- - "pardoning itself" if you will by executive order, for it's own- - shall we say, more glairing moral failings.  A sociopath will pride himself that he "can't be morally manipulated" or appealed to in his contience, or "guilted" into doing "the right thing".  Morally speaking the tea party "Compares downward" inventing moral Evils that don't exist - - for the sole purpose in saying that it is better than this.  On the other hand in terms of us peons out in the real world, they want us to "Compare down" for another reason.  Because they want the poor white in the South to compare himself to - - you know, those N word people all around them, who are out to "ruin their cherished American way of life' and all that bull crock.

David Cruise talked about of these increasingly common gang rapes by football jocks of innocent young sixteen year old girls.  They drug a girl and pass her around like trash and then they brag about it afterwards.  There is a whole twelve minute video tape on the internet I haven’t viewed yet, and I’m not sure I have the stomach for.  When the coach was asked about the rapes he threatened first the reporter, and then the reporter’s family.  David Cruise says something very wrong happened here to produce kids like this.  Where are their parents?  How the hell were they raised?  The sick part of it is that being in a conservative Midwestern Ohio city, they probably dutifully attend church every Sunday.  If I had met up with these jerk-offs I’d have probably gotten into a fight I’d come out on the losing end of.

Hillary Clinton is back and will be at her job a little longer until John Kerry takes over as Secretary of State.  That makes three high appointments the President has done lately, and of course now we also need a new UN Secretary.  The callers Randy Rhodes fielded today didn’t seem quite as mentally sharp as usual and Randy kind of “had to help them make their point”.  This successor of Kim Jon Ill is trying to westernize his country a little in a vain attempt to at least bring his country into the twentieth century, if not the 21st.  They now have something called doggie grog.  It’s kind of beer for your dog to make him feel good.  They lick the bowl clean every time.  It’s non alcoholic but it costs 36 (!) dollars for a six pack!  No thank you.  Dr. Oz was on at two and today he talked about diet and compatable body chemistry matched to the foods that you can and can’t digest.  I think this lady guest has got her finger on something.  I’ve been saying that some of this crap that Dr. Oz suggests you eat could cause digestive problems as it sits in your stomach for hours.  I also said, “I’m much rather eat something that my body can assimilate, even if it isn’t on Dr. Oz’s recommended nutritional foods list”.   Now someone else agrees with me.  She just calls her exclusive diet - - “The Plan”.

Lynne was back doing class today with senior topics at one but I sat it out because the soap opera had so many key conversations today.  Let’s look at these.  John Black is mad at Marlena for not telling him that Brady was having an affair with Christine.  But the thing is Marlena explained all of that and why she did- - or rather Didn’t do- - the things she did, and for the same reasons I would have - - NOT done them.  John didn’t trust her word on literally anything.  In his rush to embrace Christine, at least socially ( - ) he has pretty much walled his wife out and I imagine it’s affected their bedroom life.  But I have a more personal reason for identifying with Marlena,  It's not only this bit about "not trusting my good word" but the whole idea of mental competence and rationality was raised by John.  He questioned his own wife's "perceptual abilities" and believe me - - - pastors just love to use to use this "Perception" and "distorted point of view" line to discredit the Obvious when a person they regard as a potential rival or opponet States it.  (Selah)  But she was finishing up her very frank and comprehensive explanation of her actions when Samantha came in and railed about just having Christine and Brady together and how she was sickened by the sight and how he now fawns all over her and defends her at every turn like some kind of a love crazed sex slave.  Samantha said something key that John would do well to listen to.  He said “Christine would like nothing better than to the divide the two of you and pit you against each other.  But you can’t let that happen.  You need to trust each other.  We all need to pull together and that way we can get Brady away from Christine”.  Someone remarked “You sound like you’re trying to get him out of a Cult or something”.  After Sammy left the appropriate thing for him would have said would be, “You know, honey,  I almost made a horrible mental mistake - - - Again”.  But he didn’t.  Instead he goes right back into his rant against Marlena and says to her “You know I’m repeating my question.  I’m convinced that you have some kind of secret agenda you’re not telling me about.  I’ll be frank.  I don’t trust you now.”  Marlena turned to him and hugged and kissed him, as I recall and said, “Darling let’s go home”.  But John said “No way.  I’ve got to clear my head.  I’m spending the night at a hotel”.   What the HELL did he mean by that???   Then we have Clowie and Daniel and Clowie says that “new evidence” proves that Parker is really Daniel’s son and not Philip’s.  We’ve “been down this road before”.  This is a long settled issue.  What is she talking about?  Then we have Lucas and Jennifer.  Lucas still can’t wrap his head around the idea that his sister has fallen in love with- - for lack of a better term - - a masher, a womanizer.  I wouldn’t expect Lucas to feel any other way.  I wouldn’t like my sister defending the man my wife went out and had affair with and ended our marriage.  I mean – come on!  That’s asking a little too much in the area of “forgiveness”.  But then Jennifer to defend herself goes on the offensive and attacks Lucas and saying “You know - - you haven’t lost that much.  I bet you and Clowie had a lousy marriage to begin with.  These kinds of affairs don’t happen in a vacuum.  Needless to say at this point if Jennifer had been a man I would have punched her out.  But I’m sure there are a lot of oddities I could have learned from attending Lynne’s class, also.  But today’s soap episode was definitely one of the meatier ones.
