A Long Chain of Increasingly Worse Events

Behold, the Kool-Ade guy says "Well - - people get freaked out when you drink from your Own Head - - Really Freaked Out".    People also get freaked out when you pull ideas out of your own ass - - like a black robed Supreme Court Justice.

Jesus said to me, "Of course God was the one who instituted marriage.  As it is written "- - - Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and cleve unto his own wife".  "Oh really?" I exclaimed.  I asked Jesus, "Just two questions.  I have a question of the antecedent of the word "therefore" who was God referring to in this scripture.  And if he was referring to Adam then I ask you "Where are Adam's father and mother?  Second question.  God speaks of a man cleving "to his wife" as if she were already his wife at this time.  So - - just where was the marriage ceremony performed- - on that Mormon planet Brigham Young talks about?

Tell me governor Perry-  Do you pray.  "Every day".  Well, when you pray you talk to God.  Does God ever talk to you?  Are you getting any messages?   Perry:  "Of course not.  Here in Texas we lock such people up in a safe place and throw away the key".  I'm sure you do.  So let me ask you - - your authority to preach morality to people- - is it from God or from man?  Be really careful how you answer this question.

People wonder whether there is any connection with the timing of certain Supreme Court decisions.  Of course there is.  Citizen’s United was timed for maximum impact upon the 2010 congressional election.  The gutting of the Voting Rights Law was timed to impact the 2014 congressional elections.  Democrats were doing what Thom Hartman suggested they do.  They are getting registered to vote and getting involved.  I hope you see now as I saw at the time how hopeless and naïve this idea of Thom Hartman’s was that with “patience” and “hard work” and all those lauded virtues, that the progressives could make progress.  Now apparently in Texas they are bringing back a proposed redictricting map that the Courts threw out once, but now they’re bringing it back.  They zone out minorities in cities or zone them out of key districts, and use every guimic to minimize their impact on elections.  Remember that Rush Limbaugh said he might be ready to compromise on Immigration, if the new minority citizens were not allowed to vote for 25 years.  How obvious do they have to make it?  Of course they use other key words such as the peril posed by “the Trial Lawyers” on our system.  This is because the trial lawyers constitute the thin blue line between the common people and Corporations literally able to get away with whatever they want- - and murder is not off the list.  There are now binding artibration clauses in any corporate contracts signed with Unions.  This further strips workers’ rights.  Because as Randy points out these arbitration cases go before retired Judges, and most of these came into power in the twelve initial years of Reagan-Bush.  Of course they’re going to rule in the Corporation’s favor.  And of course congress has left dozens of government posts unconfirmed and vacant that President Obama has nominated, because these tea party Republicans leave nothing to chance and know these people once “in the government’ may tend to stay there for a while.  In terms of the Supreme Court the odds have been stacked against the democrats now for a decade.  The only right winger who may be retiring any time in the foreseeable future is Justice Scelia who is 77 or something.  Who is to say that one of the older democrats on the bench won’t croke first.  Thomas, Allito, and Roberts were appointed as such an obscenely young age they’ll still be on the bench when I am pushing up daises, could well be.

There would at first glance seem to be good news coming out of the US Senate today because they passed that "contraversial" immigration bill.  This is the one where the security budged to "secure the borders" was inserted- - which is a major expenditure at a time of otherwise budget austerity.  Mitch Mc Conell- - aknowledged that "Yes, this bill passed but it did so without my vote".  John Boehner pledged, as he has done right along, that no immigration bill would ever be passed by the House that did not have a Majority of Both parties behind it.  Of course the constitution says nothing about "both parties having to have a majority to pass a law".  In fact strictly speaking there WERE no political parties when the US Constitution was written.  It's just another of these increasingly stringent rules like "no topic changes during a filibuster", which is never, not ever- - a part of the Senate fillibuster tradition.  The Republicans will dig their own grave is they dare try and defeat this bill in the House after it has passed the Senate.  But these tea party people have a major suicide urge.  They pride themselves on bending to nobody's will but their leader's.  You know up till about early fall of 2005 I would pray from time to time "Lord, send a real revival of your spirit in the Houses of Congress, and see to it that we have a majority on the Supreme Court that will overturn Roe v Wade".  But in October- - and this may be my "The truth came to me when - - - " essay Dr. Levy wanted me to write- - the Truth came to me when I realized that in order to overturn Roe v Wade- - the court would have to be so right wing extreme all of their OTHER rulings would be whacked out.  It hit me at this time that "We have seen the Revival- - the one I voted for in 2000 to put Bush in- - and clearly it hasn't materialized in any form I imagined- - and after all these years it's a case of "Be careful what you pray for- - you just might get it".  (Selah)

Now Texas Governor Rick Perry wants a strong anti abortion law passed that will virtually eliminate abortion clinics in the state of Texas.  One democratic lady filibustered, but it was under Texas rules and you could not eat or drink anything or take a bathroom break, or sit down or even lean against anything.  And if they went “off topic” they were also forced to terminate.  Despite these obsticles- - by some glitch in Texas law they ran till past midnight, which is not allowed, and an abortion vote could not be taken.  It seems strange to me that no one on the abortion side of things hasn’t filed suit to ban all of these restrictions that have been erected in middle America.  It would not be a hard thing to argue to the High Court one bit that the abortion option picture has changed drastically in the past forty years.

Now this ex Patriot football player or whatever- - Aaron Hernandez is being tried for one murder, and is strongly suspected of two others, as well as extensive gang activity.  Moe Kelly says you can’t “really be anything else” is you are also a Gang Member, because these Gangs have requirements of you.  They make you “put in work” so that you contribute to the crime wave in things like starting fights in shopping malls and beating people up for the heck of it.  Just like that Raul Ruiz Calvary Covina Pastor.  I guess they have a term now called Flash Mobs or something where on Twitter or Face Book or something you leave a post saying “Let’s meet at the Mall at 3:15” normally for some specific activity.  It could be spontaneously breaking out in dance or something.  But more likely it’s for shop-lifting, which Jennifer Horton’s son JJ could tell you all about- - or it’s to start fights at the mall and beat people up.  At any rate it’s all about “putting in work time”.  Because apparently there is one Rapper who says he’s into the gang thing but he’s not a “real” gang member, and if other Gang members saw him by himself alone they would run him off- - or worse.  I have wondered about just how much “covering up of the past” is done with these hulking sports figure.  You know whatever grades they show you they aren’t their real grades.  And there are probably police records that have been expunged.  Perhaps if Jennifer Horton pulls the right strings she can have JJ’s police record expunged because we all know how respected the Horton Family is in the fabled city of Salem, and all.

It was argued by a radio host today that Marriage was instituted in the first place to keep in track of whose children were who's in small tribes where inbreeding was a real problem.  The Jews at least in their early history seemed to have a major inbreeding problem.  Isac was the product of an inbred union between Abraham and Sarah.  The problem was made worse when Isac too chose an inbred wife related to his half brother.  Then in turn the union between Jacob and Lea and Rachael too was the product of this already inbred line.  It could be argued that Judah (Jacob's son) in addition to being guilty of quazi incest with Tammar along with his son- - arguably the sin was not adultry, it wasn't prostitution.  Evidence in the text itself suggests that Judah was buying himself a wife in the person of Tamar.  People don't usually pledge signet rings and things like sheep for a one night roll in the hay.  If anything the sin of bigomy would be on Tammar's part since she was betrothed to two men at once and for a woman I don't think this was accepted behavior in that culture.  Remember we told you about that "Teacher of Rightiousness" that lived in the time of general and future Roman Emperor Pompey in the first century BC where he sacrificed a Pig on the altar of the Jewish Temple.  It could be that parable about "The King that went on a long journey" was spoken of this Teacher of Rightiousness- - living in an era of a Jewish king who had some despotic traits many people didn't like.  But it's uncertain whether this parable spoken was about the "Teacher" or the actual unpopular Jewish King himself.  The only people who still practice traditional Jewish animal sacrifice as proscribed in the Books of Moses called the "Torah" by the Jews- - these are the Sameritans- - which have become hopelessly inbred now and due to the high number of mental defectives born, this race is in the process of becoming extinct all together.
