The Great National Stupor

How do you like this as a great opening topic sentence?  In excess of thirty years our nation has been in a Great National Stupor.  I watched that “Deep State” interview on the GW blog video last night- - muting the Jeopardy sound - - and what struck me is “There is nothing new here.  We know all this stuff.  We know that our government is “broken” but constitutional government is “no longer necessary” in today’s corporaticracy.  We live by the executive order and the back door deal like that “dollars instead of voters” ad they show on the Stephanie Miller show where the dollars little by little supplant the ranks of American voters.    We are in a great national stupor because it’s like people smoking opium in days of old- - - they seem to have shall we say “lost interest” in things like justice and democracy, that used to be very important to them.  It started all the way back in 1978 with the Howard Jarvis tax payer’s revolt - - and continued with William Casey making that deal with Iran not to release the hostages till Reagan took office.  It continued through the Revolution of 1994 because whatever problems we faced before we were always protected to a degree “back-stopped” with a Democratic House.  Now this was gone and we pass things like the Communacations Act of 1996, and frankly, I’ve always had my doubts, even at the time, whether the “Defense of Marriage Act” was even constitutional.  We know the interplay between the treasury and Wall Street and the NSA and what Ike called the whole “Military Industrial Complex” that engages in war not for principle, to defend anybody or defend democracy or liberty- - but for these people it’s the bottom line.  If there is profit to be made by going to War we’ll do it- - and who cares how many brave fighting men are killed or maimed for life.  None of this is new knowledge.  We know about Iran Contra, and we know that “money was being filtered into Iraq- - right after 9 – 11 and I was one Republican who was really puzzled as to why”.  This is the guy who did the GW video.

 But now we come to Vladimir Putin- - and I think I’ve had one of those light bulb experiences.  I’m sure you’ve always wondered how or why Adolph Hitler got away with taking pieces of Europe one by one without firing a shot.  Now we know.  Nobody cared.  We were all to stupurous to even know or care what was happening before our eyes or the perils we were setting ourselves up for.  It’s funny how the media is now switching sides, just like the Trayvon Martin case.  At first they were normal people who “knew what was going on here”.  But now- - as this opium like hypnosis takes over we are increasingly hearing stuff like how Putin is fully justified in taking over Crimea and the West won’t do anything about it because Russia’s military is a lot bigger than the Ukraine, and might makes right and all.  And of course the cry goes out “Don’t fight and don’t resist because it will only make Putin mad”.   And Putin won’t guarantee that this is the final move on his part.  He wanted the whole country of Ukraine, and now he’s taking Crimea as a consolation prize.  Putin wants it known that “This is not necessarily over” and that’s the most unsetteling fact of all.  Nothing is decided.  The world is saying in essence “Whatever Putin wants, Putin gets” because nobody, even today in the 21^st Century - - has the will to stop him.  Kerry can call it a “Nineteenth Century tactic” and talk about how he has an economic price to pay.  But others say “Putin has taken all of this into consideration and decided it was worth it”.  In other words- - Putin has placed himself above NATO and the EEC and the UN and this country- - and whoever else who might at this point enter a feeble protest.  And in this year of 2014 is that all we’ll hear from the American electorate this year as a “feeble protest”?   The funny thing is - - think about this - - the Tea Party can only GAIN in congress this year if this “Outrage against Obama” or whoever EXCEEDS that of 2010.  Because think about it.  If this outrage against “The left” is equal to what it was in 2010 then- - the Same Percentage of right wingers will get elected as we got from 2010.   And yet democrats are scared spitless that now the Democrats won’t even hold the US Senate.  But as I said a minute ago- - the House is the thing that will make or break progressivism.

Can I just say this about Stephanie and the gang’s endless mocking of that one caller who kept talking about his floppy disk in the commodore 64 and dialing up Compu-Serve?  Sometimes it’s true that a caller takes too LONG to make a point.  Other people like me- - who’s brains work much more quickly- - are often too QUICK to come to the Point.  You know like High School geometry- - the idea of laying it out “how you got from here to there” struck me is kindergarten type exercises.  I’d like to harken back to this whole idea of “What is Time itself” in terms of how it came into existence and all.   You all know the “Starburst” version of the origen of all Creation - - the ENTIRE “Big Bang” so to speak.  But a couple of years ago I took the liberty to modify this Starburst theory - - all the straight lines going out like an asterisk - - and decided to introduce a 3 D element to it, which thus makes a “Tulip” formation, which has nothing to do with John Calvin.  This so called “third dimension” is what I call “Event time”.  Because - - - like the Egyptian balance scales of old- - with each side having weights of evidence place on it- - - Cause is on one side and Effect is on the other.  But the “fulcrum” of this whole thing is “The Event”.  The Event- - (s) is what according to this theory - - signals the progression of Time.  The Event- - is thus singularly IN time neither as a Cause or Effect but it’s just THERE.  Time moves neither forward nor backward with The Event.  We call Engrams “Events”.  They are “Events” in the Mind.  We also used the idea of the “Tulip” formation - - in terms of a single “petal” so to speak as a metaphor for a single life.  When you are every young you don’t “learn” from one Event to the next.  When you are older you conceptualize- - and organize your Events- - and hopefully see causes and effects for Events in your life.  We have said that - - Causes - - are what we call this “Lighter than Ether” force- - and that like the bathroom scale at fifteen pounds per square inch of PRESSURE of the atmosphere- - the thing still registers as Zero.  We thus label this reading a “false zero”.  It’s the Zero we reference in our own minds.  The “fulcrum” in nature thus is not really “Zero” but rather this “Ether Wall” as we have referred to it.  You have Cause on one side of the Ether Wall and Effect – on the other, as the other side of the equation and nature dictates both sides of the equation must balance.

The media at large, and NATO and the UN and people on conservative and liberal call in shows alike are all united against Vladimir Putin’s military invasion of the Crimea and taking over all the bases there.  However George Washington’s blog is another of those rare bird “apologists” for Putin.  He likens our meddling there as the same as “fighting the Iraq War all to keep oil supplies open”.  Like I say if that was our goal it was a major failure because oil prices tripled during this period.  First I clicked on the Bush and the “oil supply” justification for the Iraq war, and then clicked on Bush’s 2005 speech itself.  Someone said on FOX news that “Iran wants to take over Syria and Lebanon and Iraq”.   Back in those days we were really afraid of Iran, which we aren’t now, even though the danger is much more apparent now than then.  Perhaps I should post these sentaments as a counter-point to George Washington’s blog, since I know that blog is widely read.   MY POINT IS AS FOLLOWS  Maybe I'm the only one but the United States seems to have never actually gone against the nation of Iran but always seems to have handled them with kid gloves.  We didn't protest their election of 2009.  We never attempted any real invasion of Iran when they took our hostages in 1979.  We sold TOW missiles to them in the mid 1980s.  And we put in a Shiite government in the nation of Iraq more friendly to Iran, and now we "trust" Iran to get rid of their centrafuges and other uranium enrichment activities so they don't build an Atomic Bomb to drive Israel into the Sea, which is what they have been contually threatening up until VERY recently.  Think about it

DEMONS ARE CAUSES - AND THE TARGETED PEOPLE FEEL THE EFFECTS.

I read the files “nevertheless” and “Kar-mageddon” from late September of 2012 and noted a similar era in a blog I read earlier.  At late as late September of 2012 it seems as I were just trying to “fill space with a topic” with little of heartfelt passion on the subject.   There is nothing wrong with these “let’s just talk about a topic for the heck of it” blogs.  Indeed, it’s all some people ever do with Sunday sermons.  That first encounter with Jim in the halls is an event I never seem to have reported that took place late Saturday afternoon on the 29^th.   Jim had on these old jeans and a wide brimmed hat and sun glasses and long grayish white hair and kind of walked with a swagger down the hall.  And I greeted him as I approached- and then realized it wasn’t Terry.  And the look the guy gave me was something like “Don’t you dare say anything to me like that again!”   I never stopped being on the defensive about Jim from that moment on till the Monday morning he left and kind of leered at me as he left his room for the last time.  I noted though that somebody- - in audio range but out of visual range said “Here comes that nut case” as I approached three people.   That “Ron” guy hasn’t been here in a long time.  There is reference made to a “Gloria” but I thought the Gloria we know had long since left.  Then there is a reference made to a “Mark” who lends money (?).  Nora is here right now.  It’s interesting to see the changing case of characters around here.  It’s after three right now.  I just had another idea for a new posting called  

“Cause and effects are such nasty words”.  It’s along the lines that Causes have natural Effects- - as a natural course of things, and this should not be seen the least big unusual of “deviant”.  People fancy themselves as “Causes” when so much of the time they are either beneficiaries of victims of “effects” that isn’t talked about enough.

  The soap opera featured Sonny talking tough with Nick Fallon.  Yes, you can really be a thug and also a faggot.  There is such a misplaced case of moral priorities among Sonny and Will and Samantha.  They seem to think Nick is “doing something to them” when in reality- - Nick just wants to blend in and be a normal person.  But if Samantha or Sonny wants to go to the police and claim somehow they feel threatened by Nick even being in the same room, they can just explain the whole thing to Roman Brady about “what Nick has put them all through” even those months he was believed dead.  I’m sure Roman will understand.  I wonder why Samantha doesn’t do that.  (He says in jest)
