California Proposition 8 Decision Upheld

Today they allowed to stand a ruling by a gay judge in California's ruling, striking down Proposition 8, which is the No Gay Marriage amendment that was ratified by the people of California. They had endeavored to have the court decision vacated due to the fact that the Judge was gay, and therefore should have recused himself. As much as I dislike the idea of gay marriage, I would have to admit that being gay does not in and of itself mentally incompacitate a judge, any more than a Black judge would be in ruling on a civil right's issue. It does not constitute a legal "conflict of interest" in the way it's defined by the legal system. Personally I am in agreement with the George Wallace doctrine enunciated in the 1968 Presidential campaign, which proclaims that the people of California are supreme, and can vote on anything they want, as long as it does not conflict with Federal law. In New York they are one republican vote away from passing a statute in that state legalizing gay marriage. In their assembly they have passed the measure many times, but the blockage comes in the NY senate. However Andrew Cuomo had now expressed confidence that the measure legalizing gay marriage in the state of New York will indeed pass.

In Wisconsin the state Supreme Court there has overturned a ruling by a lower court. The lower court decision declared that Governor Scott Walker improperly rammed through a bunch of anti Union and anti pension stuff through the state legislature. They violated quarum laws and otherwise violated legal procedures for that state. So now Scott Walker can declare victory with no one to challenge him. He can make things just as hard on state workers as he pleases. There was an election where Kloppenburg was the liberal judge and Prauser (?) was the conservative judicial candidate. The media had led everybody to believe that though the conservative was leading in the vote count, that the liberal was certain to overtake him in the vote count, and was the destined winner. We now know the conservative really did win. Six state Wisconsin senators are up for recall in the next election. And as of now it looks like many of these recall efforts will be successful. We can hope so. Scott Walker won't be subject to any recall effort till the beginning of next year. I am pretty confident that the people of Wisconsin will throw this man out of office and at last restore a little sanity to the state.

President Obama today issued a thirty page White House memo saying that the Administration saw no need to get congress' approval for continued joint NATO action in Libya. Nor will the President seek any. Last month the Republicans in the House in a bi-partisan vote issued a demand that the President give justification as to why he is not in violation of the War Powers act, passed in the 'seventies. John Boehner said that this coming Sunday the President would be in violation of the war powers act. So far the President has not gone along with the House' inclination to make it hard on the President. However in this case those whacko republicans are right. The President will be in violation of the War Powers act if he doesn't get needed approval for the action from Congress. The House, by design is the institution that provides for funding for military bills, and indeed the Constitution stipulates that all funding bills must originate in the house. Funding for a military action may not be for longer than two years. To me this is a simple case of whether the President wants to make unnecessary trouble for himself or not.

I would like now to meditate on the preamble to the US Constitution. Note the nouns and note the verbs. Six different verbs are used. We the People in order to FORM a more perfect Union, ESTABLISH justice, PROVIDE for the Common Defense, INSURE domestic tranquility, PROMOTE the general welfare and to SECURE the blessings of Liberty to ourself and posterity- - do ordain- - ect ect ect. First of all the phrase "more perfect" is used. This is one of those flip flop words that actually denotes "less perfect". The phrase is used in Corinthians and I believe also in Hebrews. In both cases it would seem to imply that what is to follow is LESS than perfect. Who wants to worship a "more perfect" God. In establishing justice, it means that this constitution sets the standards or plum line as to what actually constitutes justice. Note that it says to Provide for the comon defense but to Promote the general welfare. In other words the government should promote it- - but it's up to you to provide for yourself. Also the document is designed to Secure the blessings of liberty. That is, to obtain them and hold on to them. Were there no constitution, the blessings of liberty in time might slip away as the nation fell into the sort of anarchy that the Republicans on Monday's debate seem to be advocating.

Eleven is an interesting number. Of course I have eleven blogs. There are eleven members on a football team. There's eleven herbs and spices in Col. Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken. and scientists say there "used to be" eleven dimensions. Three of geometric materiality, two of time, and one psychic dimension divided similarly into a 3, 2, and 1 mini triangle. There would be 75 faces to a cube in the highest psychic realm. Perhaps it's a matter of advancing to various levels and "gaining a dimension" is a sign of status. How might this work? One dimension of psychic awareness would be such a thing as feelings, emotions, or some "notion" to either do or not do something. If emotions have colors these might enter the picture if one is visually oriented. This level, if it could be reduced to words, could be easily quantified as to it voracity or not. Two dimensional psychic awareness would consist of visions. But remember what Mal Evans told me. "If there is a conflict between the vision and the words I say, go with the words; they are more reliable." One might well draw an analogy between radio, television and 3 D television. The chance of "error" or break-down increases with each level. In the third dimension you would physically be there, as you would be with all higher dimensions. I have spoken much of the triangulation or Google Choose 2 function. So what is "choose 3". This is "pyramidization". One can do the same sort of opperation working with one can at the top and four underneathe it in a triangle, and a triangle below that of six, and thus the progression of the first three numbers in Pyramidization would be 1, 4, and 10. The time dimension would remain, making seven in all in the psychic realm. One Hi Fi magazine article said Mono sound was "zero dimensional sound" whereas stereo would be one dimensional, and quad would be but two dimensional. But there is one defacto dimension and that is Time. You didn't think of that one, did you, but that is an intrigal part of the experiance. On this side of materiality we see the RESULTS of actions. Over there we see the CAUSES of these action represented by the mind equivelent of sight and sound. It's impossible to hide anything at all in the psychic realm. As Dylan said in two different songs, "The whole world is going to see just what you are" (Selah)

In the soap opera you have the classic "Which double is the impostor and which one is the real Mc Coy and how do you go about determining which one is which? Both may say "trust me" and "I'm the real one". If the real one is prudent he will restrict himself to claims other than ones only he can personally prove. First of all, as the Rolling Stones song says, "Time is on the side of the real thing". Whichever double makes claims that time is of the essence is the more likely to be the impostor. The real one, if he's prudent, will tell you NOT to make a decision on the matter if you're not sure. In the program the real Mc Coy "looks" guilty because of various circumstantial factors, which were they explained and "vetted out" would cause instant Enlightenment to the Truth. The Truth will indeed set the Rightious free and convict the Guilty. (Selaah) The impostor would appear to garner sympathy (again circumstially) saying things like "look at me. I'm a victim" or shades of "Look at these nail marks in my hands". (see the OT original) A real God won't need to say "I am a God" (Ezekiel 28) because he knows he's God and doesn't need to prove it. The impostor will be unable to offer imperical proof about any of his vast claims about himself. Another key factor is having a Witness you can trust, because you know them through and through to be honest. In this case that would be Samantha Brady. Bo and Abe have known her from her youth, and know all about her, and how she is not conned or taken in by phoneys. Meditate with me on this truth now.

When police and the DA set up the prosecution of the accused, they construct a time line and a story line to sell the jury on. In it they usually want to get inside the mind of the accused and lead you step by step just what he did and some of his apparent motive in doing it. If there is some glitch in the time line- - - they have a choice of trying to slough it over or else go back and revise their flow charts and line up all their ducks in a row. In religion you have narratives. The most famous is the crucifixion narrative. This is obviously the center piece of Christianity that is the focus of all else. It is one story that is carefully told in all four gospels. Let's review it now.Jesus was arrested in the garden while his desciples slept (I'm not sure what they were "supposed to be doing") Judas (of all the possible names why "Judah"?) betrayed Jesus with a kiss (John knew the betrayer was Judas but did nothing to stop him) to the Pharices (and apparently not one witness came forth to defend him), who turned Jesus over to the Romans because they had no law to put a man to death. (False: Stonings occurred in the land all the time) Also it was illegal to carry out a sentence for a crime on the same day on which he was sentenced, and the Jews were risking this. But nobody needed to "betray" Jesus. Anyone could follow him around and jump him when he was alone. Pilate said Jesus was innocent because he was such a stand up fair guy. (False. The historic Pilate was a corrupt and ruthless man wouldn't bat an eye at vindictiveness) - - and so he put it up to a vote of the Jewish crowds to free a man. (No such "vote" has ever been allowed before and it's unlikely it occurred here. If Pilate had the power to set one man at liberty out of some custom, why just not free him regardless of "how the people vote?) And the people threatened Pilate and chanted “We have no king but Caesar. “ (Come on - - can you imagine a Jewish mob doing this - - Especially one that just voted to free a terrorist?) And then Pilate ceremonially washed his hands in Jewish tradition saying he is innocent of this man’s blood. (“Incredible!” This is an obscure practice in old testament Mosiac law, as if Pilate practiced that.) and the people responded, “His blood be upon ourselves and on our children”. (Like who is going to do this???) And Pilate ordered the sign “King of the Jews” being placed above the cross. (Presumably out of spite that their own rejected him.) And according to some sources Jesus stumbled carrying the cross three times, and Jesus cursed one of the mockers. All the while Roman troops gambled for his clothes- which would have been soaked in blood. (The Romans were paid well. They weren’t that hard up) Jesus tells women who mourn for him “Weep not for me but for yourselves. For some day the childless woman will be called blessed. And you will say to the mountains “Hide us”. And went on to say “If these things are done when the wood is green, worse things will be done when the wood is dry”. This sort of idle threat is not real consistent with a prisoner with nothing but "flower power" love in his heart. Then Roman guards were persuaded to hasten the deaths of the condemned men so as not to violate the Sabbath. (In point of historical fact, bodies of the condemned hung out on the cross for days till they were surround by flies and starting to decay.) And after he died he was buried in a new tomb, and Roman guards were enlisted to make sure that nobody was planning to fake a resurrection. (Come on! You mean the Sanhedren were so afraid the Christian Church was going to get established on a lie that they would get the Romans to waste men and time on such a vain pursuit) If any money changed hands, it would be a violation of the Sabbath, which they cared about. Virtually every sentence in this narrative was put there to illustrate a specific point. According to Randy Rhodes after May 21st we are going to be left here to burn on earth for five months till October. Pets will be left behind. Just what happens after October I'm not sure.
