Republican Would Be's Gather for First Debate

The republican debate last night was a major horror show best remembered by six words, and these are “Deregulate, deregulate, and deregulate” and “privatize, privatize, and privatize. All of the candidates seemed big on bragging on how many children and grandchildren they had. This is why I dread going to heaven. According to Randy Rhodes, this whole debate was based upon no true facts. It was all about supply siders and nothing about the common man at all. Randy says the words “middle class” never once came from anyone’s lips”. I just watched some of the Republican debate on C-Span.com. Gingrich is the most conservative being strident on area such as racial profiling and applying religious tests to work in government and in transferring half of Homeland Security to the border for immigration control. Santarum has the purest anti abortion stance but Pawlente says he has the track record as governor of appointing pro life judges. All seem to agree that life is sacrosanct from conception to the grave. Many want to vastly expand oil drilling and coal production as well as nuclear. There seemed to be zero concern for either pollution nor scarcity of resources. Gingrich accused the President is deliberately passing an immigration reform bill, even though in doing so the President was catering to the right wing. Most agree with me on the Eminent Domain issue saying private property should not be conthiscated by the government and handed over to meda-corporate developers. Unfortunately even though I heard the words, they don’t mean it. You know “boosting tax revenues” will be a major factor.

The Republicans ran a Chicago economics “social experiment” in Chile as a prelude to trying it here when they put Pinochet in as President of Chile in 1973 under Nixon. Many say that the “freed up economics” caused vast inequities in Chilean society and exerbated economic crises in that country. They privatized social security rather than fix it. But dismantling something already in place cost much more in the long run. And if you so much as missed one “insurance payment” you were cut off for all time, so that women and those who lacked seniority suffered the most. Of course Randy Rhodes went on to say that in 2000 they got the Supreme Court to stop the counting of ballots in Florida, thus intervening in a Presidential election for the first time since 1877, and the results were disasterous then, too. Now these “social experimenters” feel so confident they can virtually dictate the political stance on any issue by a Republican candidate, so that policies that would have made Barry Goldwater blush are now commonly accepted. Mitt Romney is famous for raiding corporations and leeching money out of them, and throwing workers out in the cold, and sending their jobs overseas. Randy doesn’t even think democrats will talk about this “elephant in the room” lest they too be denied this “dirty money”. But she forgets the battle between Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown. All of her vast money could not bury the truth, and California voters saw through it all.

The African Moslem organizer of the killings in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 has been killed as of earlier this week. We’re getting them one by one. I don't know if this connected with President Clinton "bombing an Asprin factory in August of 1998 as Rush Limbaugh accuses him of or not. Clearly Al Qaeda is becomming decimated of its top leadership and is less of a threat.

Steve says that he has a hundred thousand dollars in the bank but he can’t withdraw it because his sister controls it. He and his sister each got a hundred thousand from their parents’ sale of their house. They are both dead now. Dana says that if his sister won’t let him have it then his sister is a bitch. This is the way it is with family members around here. They are about as charitable tword us as the Catholic church is tword the poor asking them for money. Scott Wilkinson is in for Leo Le Port today. I dozed off for just a bit. Scott says that the 2012 Olympics will be in 3 D. He also says that 3 D television sets generally give you a better 2 D experience too.

This Sunday they are having the gay pride parade down Santa Monica blvd. The event celebrates gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals, and trans-sexuals. They may be putting gay curriculum in the schools now with five year olds. One thing they are dropping from standard fare is handwriting. They say it’s obsolete and that little kids would rather “text” each other. So a kid may grow up neither being able to sign his own name, nor read grandpa’s old letters in the attic. Someone (I forget who) said that they oughta abolish Junior Colleges “because they amount to little more than a baby sitting service”.

I guess Sean Lennon, Olivia Harrison, Yoco Ono and Paul Mc Cartney are all hanging out with each other these days. They say that the re-release of the Mc Cartney album has bonus tracks. If is does, they didn’t play any. In case KLOS is wondering that one group I added to that Zachery list was Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin is regarded by many as “The greatest rock and roll band ever”. Who did they have in mind? I went out for coffee break at ten. Scott Wilkinson talked about playing a flute with no holes except for a small one at the end. I know a lot of gay people who have played flutes like that.

Last night it was ABC news and later on the Mc Laughlin group. Then I posted last night’s blog. I decided not to use the Stewart Sutcliffe apparence. It went like this. Stewart told me that the Federation has always agreed with my dimensional face formula of two years ago, and is perplexed why I abandoned it. He said that the Wickipedia article was just wrong. You know I was afraid they might have locked my blog today thinking it had Span on it because I used so much center stuff and had numbers and some key buzz words. In 2009 I was really worried about this because it happened several times. When I lost internet for nearly five weeks I went on line to James' computer just to check and see that my Blog hadn't been locked..
