"It's Just Part of God's Plan"

We know how psychopaths love to invoke the name of God in their schemes.  There was that criminal minds guy last night on CBS who wanted to get the child's "permission" before offing their parents, usually the mother by saying something like "I just want to take away her pain.  You wouldn't want her to suffer would you".  Of course there is the Dead Kennedies song "I kill Children".  Well last night George Zimmerman said there is not one thing he would change.  All of his concern was only for himself and 'this is the biggest trial of my life' with zero compassion for the victim.  It was a strange interview.  David Cruise noted something I had noted before.  That when Zimmerman talks he seems heavily sedated yet in a trance like state, yet his body motions show restlessness.  He began the interview saying he really "didn't have the time to have formed any oppinions about this case" of his shooting Travon Martin.  But a minute later he says while in his jail cell he had a lot of time.  He is caught lying in other areas.  There is a 911 tape of Zimmerman saying he was pursuing Martin and the police say "We don't need you to do that" but Zimmerman said in the interview that he did NOT pursue Martin.  His explanation of the encounter is strange.  Zimmerman says he "glanced down for a moment to get his cell phone" and in that instant Trayvon Martin was all over him punching him to a bloody pulp and bashing his head into the sidewalk.  He said that Martin had straddled him- - and Zimmerman's back was now on the grass, when Zimmerman in desperation shot upward at him while on his back on the ground.  The only thing is that there was no blood on Zimmerman's shirt and the last time I checked gravity goes downward.  Also Zimmerman omits any reference to his screaming for help, but insists that Martin issued a stream of threats and explititives at him.  The only problem with this is that in another 9 - 11 call there ARE anguished tortured screams of "Help me" which ended abruptly the moment we heard the shot.  And there was nothing about threats and ezplititives uttered at Martin.  There are other inconsistencies about supposedly Trayvon Martin going between buildings and then "reappearing".  George Zimmerman said he was unfamiliar with the "stand your ground" doctrine as far as shooting despite the fact he had been on"patrol" for six months and his father was a Judge.  But by far the strangest part of the interview is when Sean asked him that if he had it to do over would he have been carrying a gun, or would he get out of the car or pursue Trayvon Martin.  And Zimmerman said "No" resolutely to each question.  In many cases the tape shows signs of editing.  Many times Zimmerman will trail off in a sentense and then Hannity abruptly changes the subject.  Many times Hannity asks leading questions, and also suggest the "correct answer" to a particular question.  Now they are saying that the prosecution will be using this tape as evidence of inconsistency.  The sad thing is that good born again Christians like Judy will believe every word of it.

The latest Batman movie opens tonight at midnight or whatever.  July 20th is the 43rd anniversary of the lunar landing of Apollo XI.  Of course the villian in the batman movie is named "Bain" after Bain Capital and Rush Limbaugh on his show the other day said that name was a gigantic Hollywood entertainment conspiracy.  Of course Romney is doing well leading the President by one point in the latest polls 47$ to 46%.  As you know you have to knock off three or four percentage points from any democrat to make up for the "red shift" factor with voting machines, that occurrs as regular as clock work these days.  As Randy Rhodes says "Our side is going to have to win big".  But of course we won't and so in January we are going to have our first Mormon President.  I happened to think of how President Obama is young enough that he could run again in 2016.  He would be the most popular political speaker the Democrats have and then it would be his turn to take pot shots at Romney.  I mentioned this to Stu Sutcliffe and he had this strange look he gave me and said "I just don't see that happening - not one bit".  I would take it he either sees Obama being reelected, which looks increasingly unlikely now, or else if there is a "Rapture" it is going to be of liberal democrats and not tea party republicans.  My feeling is Mitt Romney could be raptured tomorrow and it'd be the best possible thing for the country.  Of course the evening network news was a gallery of doom and gloom what with the Syria stuff and global warming and drought stuff, and now they are saying the economy is taking a downturn.  People have turned against the President in a big way- - as far as support for his economic leadership.  It was about even four months ago, but now an overwhelming majority favor Mitt Romney's policies.  I guess it's going to just take a little time to get used to the concept of a flip flopping tea party Mormon president whom everybody hates but still elected.  Personally I myself just see a lot of doom and gloom ahead without end.  I really don't see any redemption or way out.
