Elizabeth Warren and Lindsey Graham

The sign of a true "Mental Patient" is he thinks he has answers to questions nobody could possibly know.  Keeping this thought in mind- - prepare to "have your intelligence insulted" in the final paragraph where I give some of my take on "The Theory of Everything".

I would like to discuss Elizabeth Warren’s speech in the Senate a few days ago.  I was inspired to check out the whole speech on C-Span, which wasn’t that long.  City Bank has an undue influence on our national policy.  They were the number one recipient of the TARP bail out of 2008, receiving substantially more than number two.  They also have had three people from City Bank in high government positions while a fourth high ranking democrat turned a chance for a high position at City Bank.  Elizabeth Warren reminds us that “Dodd Frank isn’t perfect”.  It should have been a lot stronger.  Dodd Frank should have broken City Bank into little pieces.  That’s what Teddy Roosevelt would have done.  TR recognized that these rich monoliths not only have huge monetary power but immense political power, which was what Teddy was most afraid of.  After listening to the entire speech I was more convinced than ever the necessity of defeating that Omnibus bill.  After her on the same link was Lindsey Graham.  While I sympathize with Lindsey’s speech, and he makes a lot of emotional appealing points, he’s just plain wrong.  Let me tell you the moral distinctions I make.  In 2011 and 2013 in particular, Lindsey Graham sided with the forces of reason and said we had to rise above petty ideology to keep the engine of government going.  But the big difference is that Obama Care was duly passed by both houses of congress and signed into law.  It was validated by the Justices of the Supreme Court.  And the American people affirmed it again in reelecting Barock Obama for President in 2012.  Now contrast this with the proposed gutting of Dodd Frank.  This was a new initiative.  Dodd Frank too was a duly passed bill by congress.  And as bad as shutting down the government, it pails into less significance when contrasted to the idea of reinflating the Investment Bubble and again putting tax payers on the hook for speculative behavior, which I have gone into before in more detail.  So it’s not that “Lindsey proved himself to be the better man” so to speak.  It’s a case of one brave senator, who happens to be a woman, standing firm on essential moral principle.

I guess the stock market was up today.  I hope you got the message NOT to sell yet but to wait for my signal.  There are still gains, perhaps substantial ones, to be made on the up side, short term.  Don’t get shaken out in a bear trap, which is what I warned you about even more stridently in mid October.  In the news now they are talking about this Sony Pictures computer hacking because of this satire spoof movie on killing the head of North Korea.  North Korea says they had nothing to do with it, but I insist “the lady doth protest too much”.  Everybody knows it was them.  This is the one “Earth issue” that the Federation seems to be involved with lately since as you know Sony Studios are in Culver City which is the Skyway Group.  This Skyway group has done valuable reconisance work for the Federation in terms of providing information to the Federation, and the Federation is standing by them.  North Korea obviously doesn’t know the American people if they think a few threats on their part is going to keep Sony Pictures from releasing the movie as planned on the original date.  I would join in those who are requestion that information that’s been hacked NOT be made public.  In the old days reporters would sit on stories just out of human decency.  They don’t do that any more, nowadays.   Now and then I entertain a dark thought about just bombing North Korea off the face of the earth.  As far as I can tell North Korea has no friends, except for China- - - and only some of the time, at that.  Some people say that body cameras on police officers pose a privacy risk to the public.  I am not on their side.  I believe that the best insurance against police abuse of force, is knowing that they are on candid camera.  Also the subjects of the police stops are also on their best behavior.  It’s been shown that in places where cameras are in use- - complaints of police abuse drop way off.

This teenage girl involved in the fake rape case in ‘Law and Order” said something last night that flagged my attention.  “I would just like to get back to being- - Normal.  Lately I don’t feel like Me”.   I’m thinking that my obsession with politics these past six-odd years has been a little hyper- - - way hyper- - - even for me.  My writings did not used to be so heavily dominated by politics of almost a “crisis” nature, and that can be tiresome.   Back 25 years ago many talk show radio programs had “topic driven” discussions.  They’d devote an hour to this topic and a topic to that.  Many times Tom Leykis would devote a whole hour segment to sex and dating, and you got to hear his many opinions on that subject.  I remember one hour in September of 1989 I believe- - was a contrast of two current court convictions.  It was Jim Bakker verses Zsa Zsa Gabor being charged with slapping a police officer.   A lot of times Leykis would express his views on religion.  In my writings in the nineties that I have on computer starting from late 1995 a lot of the time I read these and think “Why am I in such a good mood.  I’m so light hearted and jocular.”  In 1998 I was taking Judy’s vitamins which bolstered my mood.  And I was also making a conscious decision to curb the alcohol consumption, which I had become concerned about in the course of the year 1997.  Even in 1998 I remember there was one day when I was in a downer mood and reading this one file I thought “OK, one file where I actually act normal”.  Because for me the new Normal was being in a downer mood.  My writing has always been rather free-wheeling and flighty.  But only the present “serious” me is now annoyed by this “undisciplined” style.   Captain Janeway was in the final Voyager episode with the young her and the current older “more seasoned” her- - and they had spirited arguments.

We had sloppy Joes for lunch with four onion rings and catsup.  We had corn chowder and peaches for desert.  Today I decided to listen to regular radio to Sean Hannity to get his current take on things.  He is not happy with the “Establishment Republican party” these days, and believes Ted Cruise was right in pointing out the issue of the President exceeding his executive authority.  I wouldn’t want anyone to vote for a bill is they in good conscience felt that they would be violating a basic constitutional principle to do so.   It was Days of our Lives at one.  We never got very much rain today at all, and now they are saying that the bulk of the storm is still out there.  Jennifer began calling names for Money Draw at a quarter to two.  They had coffee in the front room and I had two cups.  Then I got in the tail end of the Money Draw line.  In fact there was no line except for the individual already in the office.  I asked for nine dollars and got it, but was surprised to see I still had three dollars on the books.  Had I known that I would have taken all twelve.  I grabbed two pieces of chocolate and left.  I went to the liquor store for a pack of John Blacks.  Then I got in the line to see the doctor and spent most of the time behind James Fisher.  Nancy Warwick cut in line ahead of both of us.  James mildly admonished her.  The dog was attentive to that woman (I forget her name) who is in a wheel chair the dog hangs out with so much.  My temperature was 97 and something.  (cold weather, probably)  My blood pressure was low.  I told Dr Saran I had no medical issues and have been in ideal health.  Then I made my way back here and I think I’ve already covered that part.

There is talk on how string theory is “The Theory of Everything”.  I’m going to have to accept that statement on Faith because I personally don’t understand how that could possibly Be.  You may have questions about “string theory”.  I can tell you about MY string theory.  Though you can draw lines between the anchor points of the strings, said “anchor” has a reality in place and time but NOT in substance.  The TYPE of substance, just as TYPE of variable in a computer program must be identical in order to be operationally compatible.  You CAN draw lines connecting the “loci” of points A and B but once again the string does not pass through formatted space at all.  Therefore there can be no said ‘direction’ unlike with either light or sound- - that the strings vibrate in.  As nearly as I can figure they have an “a priori” causality in their vibrating, which is they are a CAUSE without an EFFECT, and in this sense they share a trait theologians attribute to God.  Some may ask “If this psychic realm the strings allude to – just another name for God?  The official Federation answer is NO with a capital N.  I stated this notion of “conscious dwelling in the realm of causality”.  Many religionists would say that this is the goal of every spiritual “pilgrim” to achieve this “God presence” state.  The Federation regards the word “God” as part of a humanistic superstition which they’ll have no part of.   The Orion Federation picked up the name Orion- - because of the “Ruins of Reigel VII” which is said to “be about as old as the Great Pyramid of Egypt”.  The term of Orion is called “the realm of the dead” but could be translated “the realm of the Under World’ or “the Realm of the Other Side”. There is certainly no claiming that the Federation was founded by a "God" named Orion.  Some like Stewart Sutcliffe and perhaps myself- - have a past life in ancient Egypt where Orion was revered.   So the Federation has always hyped up this whole “psychic realm” thing as one of their great strengths, and some say - - great secrets.   Lately I was wondering- - whether my rather snipy attitude as of late tword the Federation was the prompter of the Federation seemingly (in my view) “walling me out” or “giving me the silent treatment”.  But I was assured this played no part in that decision. It was just “a decision that was made not to be so influenced by the concerns of Earth people.  (Unless you live in Culver City)   This answer will have to do, because this individual would not elaborate.  What it does of course is “Place me more on my own” than I would otherwise be, forced to “figure things out for myself”.   There was a time last night reading this hype about “The theory of everything” when I mused in a completely egotistic flight of fancy that “These people are searching out questions I’ve already found the answers to”.  I guess that would have been enough in the old days to be struck by lightning on the spot.
